Abstract

Cultural heritage merupakan sebuah warisan budaya yang melekat di dalam sebuah komunitas maupun kota atau negara itu sendiri. Akan tetapi, cultural heritage seringkali diabaikan karena mengejar perkembangan zaman sehingga warisan budaya cenderung ditelantarkan dan tidak dijaga. Hal ini menjadikan beberapa warisan budaya tidak terawat dan menjadi rusak. Selain itu, seiring dengan perkembangan zaman, masyarakat cenderung tidak peduli dengan warisan budaya karena terjadinya perkembangan budaya. Maka dari itu, penelitian ini berfokus dalam penerapan konsep cultural heritage pada arsitektur yang diterapkan dalam perancangan arsitektur bagi masyarakat sekarang. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan studi literatur mengenai konsep cultural heritage dalam arsitektur yang dijadikan sebagai dasar landasan teori dalam penelitian untuk menganalisis studi kasus. Hasil dari studi kasus yang telah di analisis berdasarkan hasil teori membentuk kriteria dan variable desain arsitektur di dalam menentukan tapak dan program dalam rancangan. Tapak yang dipilih yaitu area Menara ATC bandara kemayoran. Hasil dari analisis akan tapak dan program menghasilkan beberapa strategi dalam merancang yand dijadikan sebagai dasar dalam melakukan perancangan. Hasil dari perancangan yaitu menyediakan fasilitas edukasi, ekonomi dan pertunjukan berupa pusat seni dan budaya dengan konsep arisktektur cultural heritage. Perancangan diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kepekaan terhadap warisan budaya yang dimiliki melalui fasilitas sosial seni dan budaya./ Cultural heritage is a heritage that inherent in a community or city or country itself. However, cultural heritage is neglected because it catches up with the times so, cultural heritage tends to be neglected and not maintained. This has resulted in some cultural heritages being neglected and damaged. In addition, along with the times, people tend not to care about cultural heritage because of cultural development. Therefore, this research is based on the concept of cultural heritage in architecture which is applied in architectural design for today's society. This research was conducted by using a literature study on the concept of cultural heritage in architecture which is used as a theoretical basis in research to analysis case studies. The results of the case studies that have been analysis are based on the theoretical results, criteria and design of architectural variables in determining the site and program in the design. The site chosen is the Menara ATC area at ex Kemayoran airport. The results of the analysis of the site and program produce several strategies in designing which are used as a basis for designing. The result of the design is to provide educational, economic, and performance facilities in the form of an arts and culture center with the concept of cultural heritage architecture. The design is expected to increase sensitivity to cultural heritage through social arts and culture facilities.
