Abstract

One of the effective and simple way to prevent infection within the hospital is through and washing. Hand washing is effective in reducing the number of bioburde (numberr of microorganisms) on the hand. In addition, hand washing is an effort to prevent the spread of viruses on the area has not been contaminated. This study aims to identify the factors that affect the compliance of nurse in washing using at SHKJ inpatient rooms. This study uses the quantitative descriptive approach with the population of 131 nurses and the sample collection used is the simple random sampling with a total of 99 respondents. Univariant data was used as the data analisis.The result of research on factors influencing hand washing of five moments are 21-40 years old (100%), respondent's age is 5 years (48.5%), good knowledge of nurse 88 respondents (88.9% ), adequate hospital facilities (100%) and RS policy support (100%). The conclusions of the factors affecting the nurse d in the implementation of 5-minute handwashing in the SHKJ hospital ward are good. Recommendations for further research are advised to examine the relationship of factors that affect hand washing / Salah satu cara yang efektif dan juga sederhana dalam mencegah terjadinya infeksi dilingkungan rumah sakit adalah mencuci tangan. Mencuci tangan berguna untuk menurunkan bioburde (jumlah mikroorganisme) pada tangan.Selain itu, mencuci tangan merupakan usaha untuk mencegah terjadinya penyebaran pada area yang belum terkontaminasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi pelaksanaan cuci tangan di ruang rawat inap SHKJ. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan jumlah populasi 131 perawat dan teknik pengambilan sampel simple random sampling dengan total sampel 99 responden. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan analisa data Univariat.Didapatkan hasil penelitian mengenai faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi cuci tangan yaitu Usia responden 21 – 40 Tahun (100%), mayoritas masa kerja responden yaitu >5 tahun sebanyak 48 (48.5%), pengetahuan perawat baik yaitu 88 responden (88.9%), fasilitas RS memadai (100%) dan kebijakan RS mendukung (100%). Kesimpulan dari faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi perawat dalam pelaksanaan cuci tangan di ruang rawat inap SHKJ adalah baik. Rekomendasi untuk peneliti selanjutnya disarankan untuk meneliti mengenai hubungan faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap cuci tangan.
