Abstract

Kesetaraan dan keadilan masyarakat yang tinggal di kota-kota besar belum terasa secara merata khususnya di Indonesia sendiri ketimpangan sosial dan kemiskinan terus melonjak naik hingga 10,19 persen atau sebanyak 27,55 juta orang. Kelompok marginal salah satu kelompok kecil dan pra-sejahtera yang tumbuh dengan ketidak-adilan dalam berbagai aspek, salah satunya persediaan pendidikan yang memadai yang berdampak pada remaja marginal. Banyak remaja marginal yang memutuskan untuk berhenti sekolah dan beralih turun ke jalan untuk bekerja mencari nafkah dengan menjadi pedagang kaki lima, pengamen, pedagang asongan, tukang parkir dan pemulung. Persoalan ini karena kelompok marginal tidak memiliki aksesibilitas lingkungan yang baik serta tidak tersedianya ruang yang cukup untuk meningkatkan edukasi dan keterampilan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode studi literatur dengan pendekatan arsitektur hibrid yang memiliki karakteristik seperti Eklektik atau Quotation, Modifikasi atau Manipulasi dan Penggabungan. Karakteristik ini di dukung melalui cara hibridisasi dalam konteks kepadatan penduduk yaitu Hibridisasi Spasial, Pemrograman atau Fungsional Hibrid, dan Operasional Hibrid. Kedua elemen dari pendekatan arsitektur hibrid digunakan dalam menganalisis tiga studi preseden di Negara Korea Selatan, China dan Meksiko serta satu studi kasus di Jakarta Utara. Proses perancangan di mulai melalui pemilihan tapak yaitu berada di Kampung Ondel-Ondel sebagai lokasi perancangan yang telah dianalisis sebagai ruang yang dekat dengan kegiatan remaja marginal dan dapat menjadi pusat kegiatan remaja marginal yang dapat menghadirkan ruang untuk meningkatkan potensinya sebagai bekal untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dan pengetahuan di masa depan. Elemen arsitektur hibrid menghasilkan strategi desain dalam bentuk dan massa bangunan, akses dan sirkulasi, program ruang hibrid, dan teknikal yang menghasilkan tiga konsep perancangan yaitu dalam konteks, akses dan sirkulasi serta program ruang. Ketiga konsep tersebut menciptakan pusat kegiatan remaja marginal yang memiliki ciri dan budaya yang kental didalamnya dengan campuran beberapa fungsi didalam satu bangunan dan aksesibilitas yang fleksibel. Hasil akhirnya, pusat kegiatan remaja marginal menjadi tempat pertemuan bagi pengunjung dan komunitas untuk lebih mengenal potensi remaja marginal dan meningkatkan status ekonomi mereka dengan hasil karya yang dihasilkan./ The equality and justice of the people who live in big cities have not been felt evenly, especially in Indonesia itself, social inequality and poverty have continued to soar up to 10,19 percent or as many as 27,55 million people. Marginalized group is one of the small and underprivileged groups that grows with injustice in various aspects, one of which is an adequate education supply which has an impact on marginalized youth. Many marginalized teenagers who decide to quit school and take to the streets to work to earn a living by becoming street vendors, street singers, hawkers, parking attendants and scavengers. This problem is because marginalized groups do not have good environmental accessibility and there is not enough space to improve education and skills. The research was conducted with a literature study method with a hybrid architectural approach that has characteristics such as eclectic or quotation, modification or manipulation and amalgamation. This characteristic is supported by means of hybridization in the context of population density, namely Spatial Hybridization, Programming or Functional Hybrids, and Hybrid Operations. The two elements of the hybrid architectural approach were used in analyzing three precedent studies in South Korea, China and Mexico as well as one case study in North Jakarta. The design process began through site selection, which is located in Ondel-Ondel Village as a design location which has been analyzed as a space close to marginal youth activities and can become a center for marginal youth activities that can provide space to increase its potential as a provision to improve skills and knowledge in future. Hybrid architectural elements produce design strategies in the form and mass of buildings, access and circulation, hybrid space programs, and technicalities that produce three design concepts, namely in context, access and circulation as well as space programs. These three concepts create a center for marginalized youth activities that have characteristics and a thick culture in them with a mixture of several functions in one building and flexible accessibility. The end result is that the center for marginalized youth activities becomes a meeting place for visitors and communities to get to know more about the potential and work of marginalized youth and improve their economic status with works such as goods that can be sold.
