Abstract

Desain grafis adalah sebuah proses komunikasi visual yang berupa tulisan, gambar, dan bentuk. Visual yang ditampilkan bertujuan untuk menyampaikan sebuah informasi yang tersampaikan dengan baik dan benar. Secara umum, sebuah pesan dapat diinformasikan melalui verba, seperti penyampaian isu disabilitas yang dibentuk melalui karya sastra. Namun, manusia akan lebih mudah memahami apabila adanya visual. Visualisasi teks bekerja dimana teks dan visual berjalan beriringan sehingga pesan yang disampaikan dapat lebih mudah dimengerti oleh audiens. Penyampaian informasi dapat dipengaruhi oleh medium penyampaiannya. Seperti instalasi, secara umum berupa tiga dimensi yang erat kaitannya sebagaimana hubungan audiens dengan karya. Dalam sebuah instalasi, adanya sebuah interaksi antara audiens dan karya yang secara tidak langsung audiens akan merasakan emosional yang dibangun. Dengan mengambil isu disabilitas, diharapkan dapat memberikan pandangan atau perspektif yang berbeda dalam menjalani sebuah kehidupan, yaitu melalui perspektif gadis bisu-tuli / Graphic design is a visual communication process which is consist text, images, and forms. The visuals displayed aim to convey information properly and correctly. In general, a message can be informed through verb, as a delivery of disability issues that are formed through literature. However, humans will be easier to understand if there is a visual form. Text visualization works wherever text and visuals go hand in hand so the conveyed message more easily understood by the audience. To deliverable a messages or information can be influenced by the medium of speech. Such installation, the three-dimensional form in general is closely related to the relationship between the audience and the artwork. In the installation itself, there is emotion that can be built by the interaction between audience and the artwork. By choosing the disability issue, it expected to provide a different point of view or perspective in life, through a deaf girl perspective.
