Abstract

In realizing employees’ performance, the company needs job analysis. Job Analysis is an activity of collecting data / information relating to a position to determine job descriptions and job requirements on certain job. PT Charisma Rasa Sayang, Medan is a travel agent based in Medan. Phenomenon in the company is the decline of employees’ performance. One of the problems that caused declined in employees’ performance is there is no clear position analysis of each employees in the company. This research uses the theories about job analysis and its impact on employees’ performance. The framework of this research is to find out the relationship between job analysis and employees’ performance.The methods used by the writer in this research is quantitative assosiative research. Data used in this research are primary data and secondary data. This research uses simple linear regression, hypothesis test and coefficient determination to know the impact of job analysis on employees’ performance. Based on research result, the simple linear regression showed equation of Y = 0.263 + 1.464 X. It means that variable job analysis has a straight relationship to employees’ performance, that if there is an increase on job analysis, the employees’ performance will also increase. The conclusion on this research is the hypothesis test showed that the variable job analysis has an impact to employees’ performance. The coefficient of determination has resulted in 68.6% variable employees’ performance can be explained by variable job analysis and the rest of 31.4% can be explained by other factor that is not mentioned in this research. For next researcher, the writer recommends to add other factors that can give impact on employees’ performance such as compensation and work environment or trying to use another core business as sample.
