Abstract

Pain is an unpleasant sensory and emotional experience resulting from subjective impairments. The problem of pain nursing, is very common in patients with surgical cases. At Siloam Hospital Labuan Bajo, surgical patients in 2016 reached 950 patients and in 2017 from January to July surgical patients reached 916 patients. One of the methods used to control postoperative patient pain is with pain management of deep breath relaxation techniques. In performing pain management, the nurse requires adequate knowledge and skills to perform the action. Through the study describes the competence of nurses on the implementation of postoperative patient pain management on nurses in SHLB Inpatient Department. This research uses descriptive quantitative research method. This sampling technique uses total sampling. The population in this study were all SHLB inpatient nursed totaling 18 nurses, and the sample of the study amounted to 18 nurses. Data analysis technique used is univariate analysis. The study was conducted from September to October 2017. The result of the study stated that the knowledge of the nurses in SHLB Inpatient Hospital is mostly good with the percentage of 70,59%, and the description of the nurse's action is mostly incompetent with the percentage of 70.59%, and the competent is 29,41% / Nyeri merupakan suatu pengalaman sensorik dan emosional yang tidak menyenangkan akibat dari kerusakan yang bersifat subjektif. Masalah keperawatan nyeri, sangat banyak dijumpai pada pasien-pasien dengan kasuskasus bedah. Di Siloam Hospital Labuan Bajo, pasien bedah di tahun 2016 mencapai 950 pasien dan di tahun 2017 terhitung bulan Januari sampai Juli 2017 pasien bedah mencapai 916 pasien. Salah satu cara yang digunakan untuk mengontrol nyeri pasien post operasi adalah dengan manajemen nyeri teknik relaksasi nafas dalam. Dalam melakukan manajemen nyeri, perawat membutuhkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang memadai untuk melakukannya Melalui penelitian ini menggambarkan kompetensi perawat terhadap pelaksanaan manajemen nyeri pasien post operasi pada perawat di Ruang Rawat Inap SHLB. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengambilan sampel ini menggunakan total sampling. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh perawat rawat inap SHLB yang berjumlah 17 perawat, dan sampel penelitian berjumlah 17 perawat. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan adalah analisa univariat. Penelitian dilakukan dari November sampai Desember 2017. Hasil penelitian menyatakan gambaran pengetahuan perawat Ruang Rawat Inap SHLB sebagian besar baik dengan persentase 70,59 %, dan gambaran tindakan perawat sebagian besar tidak kompeten dengan persentase 70,59 % dan yang kompeten adalah sebesar 29,41 %.
