Abstract

The work environment is the atmosphere or conditions around the location of work. The work environment can be in the form of rooms, layouts, facilities and infrastructure, and work relations with fellow colleagues. If the work environment can create a comfortable atmosphere and provide peace, it will make the work atmosphere conducive, so that it can improve one's work results for the betterThe purpose of this study is to test and find out how the influence of the work environment on employees‟ performance on CV Aneka Hydraulic System Medan. This research is a quantitative research using associative methods. The population in this study are 46 employees from CVAneka Hydraulic System Medan. The sample technique used is census sampling method so that the number of samples in this study amounted to 46 respondents. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the Z test obtained Z test value of 4.30> Z table 1.96 so that Ho is rejected, and Ha is accepted which means the work environment has an effect on employees‟ performance on CV Aneka Hydraulic System Medan. Based on the results of the Determination Coefficient test obtained the value of R Square of 41.1% which means the magnitude of the influence of the work environment on employees‟ performance is 41.1% while the remaining 58.9% is influenced by other variables. The magnitude of the correlation coefficient is 0.641 and is positive, this value indicates a positive and strong influence between the work environment and employees‟ performance. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the work environment has a strong and significant effect on the positive direction of employee performance. The implications of the results of this study are expected that companies can create a conducive work environment
