Abstract

Henti jantung merupakan penyebab kematian yang cukup banyak di dunia, diperkirakan 17,9 juta orang meninggal karena penyakit jantung. Pada tahun 2016, henti jantung mewakili 31% dari semua kematian global, dan 85% disebabkan oleh serangan jantung dan stroke. Tenaga kesehatan dalam hal ini harus melakukan resusitasi jantung dan paru yaitu kombinasi dari kompresi dada dan bantuan terhadap pernafasan korban. Tenaga kesehatan harus menyediakan high-quality CPR kepada korban. Untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan perawat tentang high-quality CPR di enam rumah sakit swasta di Indonesia. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Pengambilan data menggunakan kuisioner yang dikembangkan oleh Fadilah (2019) dari AHA (2015). Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 86 responden dengan menggunakan tehnik sampling convenience. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan perawat rawat inap di enam rumah sakit di Indonesia memiliki pengetahuan yang baik tentang high-quality CPR. Perawat diharapkan untuk tetap meningkatkan kemampuan high-quality CPR sehingga dapat memberikan bantuan hidup dasar yang berkualitas bagi pasien henti jantung dalam rumah sakit. / Cardiac arrest is a significant cause of death in the world. It is estimated that 17.9 million people die from heart disease. In 2016, cardiac arrests represented 31% of all global deaths, and 85% were caused by heart attacks and strokes. In this case, health workers must perform cardiac and pulmonary resuscitation, namely a combination of chest compressions and breathing assistance to the victim. Health workers must provide high-quality CPR to victims. To describe the knowledge of nurses about high-quality CPR in six private hospitals in Indonesia. This research is a quantitative descriptive study. Data collection used a questionnaire developed by Fadilah (2019) from AHA (2015). The population in this study were 86 respondents using convenience sampling technique. The results of this study indicate that inpatient nurses at six hospitals in Indonesia have good knowledge about high-quality CPR. Nurses are expected to continue to improve their high-quality CPR skills so that they can provide quality basic life support for cardiac arrest patients in the hospital.
