Abstract
Tradisi merupakan sesuatu yang melekat terhadap hampir seluruh kehidupan masyarakat yang dijalankan secara turun menurun, seperti: adat, budaya, kebiasaan dan kepercayaan. Salah satu tradisi yang ada di Indonesia adalah petan, dalam Bahasa Jawa artinya kegiatan mencari kutu di rambut kepala, menca¬ri kutu biasanya terdapat dalam kehidupan rakyat kecil dalam pedesaan maupun anak-anak kecil pada beragam lapis sosial. Dalam tata sutradara, narasi diceritakan melalui karakter film. Proses perancangan dibuat menggunakan metode 3D Character yang membahas scenario yang menyangkut isi cerita, pengembangan karakter, penyesuaian karakter, penyajian karakter dan hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan estetika maupun tujuan artistik film. Melalui film ini, diharapkan agar dapat memaparkan isu drama komedi antar perdebatan dalam persahabatan. Selain itu, juga diharapkan dapat menggambarkan era, karakter, cerita, dan suasana film melalui tata sutradara.
