Abstract

Training contributes positively in the growth and performance of companies. Entrepreneurship training enhance entrepreneurial skills on entrepreneurs. The objective of this study is to know the impacts of entrepreneurship training on business performance at stationery distributor in Medan As this research paper will be using entrepreneurship training as its independent variable with 4 indicators such as entrepreneurship skill, innovation, apprenticeship, and business skill. On the other hand, the dependent variable is business performance which will have 5 indicators which are: economic, human, environmental, community and governance performance.The methods used by the writer in this research is descriptive method and correlational method. Data used in this research are primary data and secondary data. Data analysis methods used in this research are descriptive statistic, validity test, reliability test, normality test, coefficient of correlation, coefficient of determination, linear regression analysis and Z test. Based on research result, the conclusion of this research is that entrepreneurship training has significant impact on business performance in distributor of stationery in Medan. With the value of Zcount is higher than Ztable. Based on determination test, it can be known that the coefficient of determination is 0.783. It can shows that the entrepreneurship training can explains business performance in amount of 0.783 and the remaining in 21.7% can be explained by other factor that isn’t included in this research. Based on correlation test, the coefficient of correlation is 0.885. It means that relationship between entrepreneurship training with business performance is 88.5%. Therefore, entrepreneurs that have been trained need continuous guidance and expected to develop knowledge about building, planning and financing the business.
