Abstract

Latar belakang: Wabah COVID-19 yang terjadi secara mendadak mengakibatkan Pemerintah Indonesia menerapkan kebijakan belajar dan bekerja dari rumah. Keadaan ini berdampak pada proses belajar mengajar mahasiswa keperawatan, mereka merasakan tantangan saat pembelajaran daring. Hal ini berpengaruh pada efikasi diri mahasiswa keperawatan, untuk menangani permasalahan tersebut, setiap mahasiswa keperawatan baik laki-laki dan perempuan harus memiliki efikasi diri yang baik agar dapat menjalani pembelajaran daring dengan baik. Tujuan penelitian: untuk mengetahui perbedaan efikasi diri mahasiswa keperawatan laki-laki dan perempuan pada pembelajaran daring. Metode penelitian: penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif komparasi dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan total sampling pada 295 responden mahasiswa keperawatan. Instrumen yang digunakan ialah kuesioner dengan 14 butir pertanyaan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner daring dengan google form yang disebarkan kepada mahasiswa keperawatan angkatan 2018 di salah satu universitas swasta Indonesia barat yang telah dulakukan uji validitas dan reabilitas. Analisa data menggunakan Mann-Whitney T test. Hasil Penelitian: sebanyak (83,7%) mahasiswa berjenis kelamin perempuan, sebanyak (54.3%) mahasiswa perempuan memiliki efikasi diri tinggi dan sebanyak (52.1%) mahasiswa laki-laki memiliki efikasi diri rendah serta tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara efikasi diri laki-laki dan perempuan pada pembelajaran daring dengan nilai p=0.462. Rekomendasi Penelitian: bagi peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan dapat menggali dan mengidentifikasi lebih lanjut faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi jenis kelamin dengan efikasi diri./ Background: The COVID-19 outbreak that occurred suddenly resulted in the Government implementing a study and work from home policy. This situation has an impact on the teaching and learning process of nursing student who are not ready to carry out the online learning, they have challenges when online learning. This affects the self-efficacy of nursing student, to deal with these problems, every nursing student both male and female, must have good self�efficacy in order to undergo online learning. Research objective: to know the differences in self efficacy of male and female nursing students in online learning. Research method: This study used a comparative descriptive method with a cross�sectional approach. Data collection techniques with total sampling on 295 nursing student respondents. The instrument used was a questionnaire with 14 questions. Data collection used an online questionnaire with google form which was distributed to nursing students of the 2018 class at one of the private western Indonesian universities that had tested the validity and reliability. Data analysis used the Mann-Whitney T test. Result: as many as (83.7%) female students, as many as (54.3%) female students had high self-efficacy and as many as (52.1%) male students had lower self-efficacy, and there was no significant difference between male and female self-efficacy in online learning with a value of p = 0.462. Research Recommendations: for further researchers, it is hoped that they can explore and further identify the factors that can influence gender with self-efficacy.
