Abstract

Film merupakan bentuk karya seni audio visual untuk menyampaikan suatu cerita. Tugas akhir ini berisikan tentang konsep, laporan dan proses pembuatan film pendek ”Nambel Ban” dari sudut pandang penulis yang berperan sebagai penata artistik. Film Nambel Ban adalah film pendek fiksi berlatar tahun 2004 yang menceritakan tentang dua bujangan tua etnis Batak dan Jawa yang bertemu dan berbagi pandangan terhadap masalah identitas sosial mengenai perkawinan. Riset sebagai penata artisik yang dilakukan untuk merancang film Nambel Ban dimulai dari wawancara, mencari referensi dan data visual. Isi dari laporan ini merangkai teori, rancangan, proses, dan hasil akhir dari film Nambel Ban./Film is a form of visual audio art to tell a story. This final task consists of the concept, report and process of making the short film "Nambel Ban" from the point of view of the author who serves as art director. Nambel Ban is a fictional short film set in 2004 that tells the story of Batak and Javanese old bachelors who meet and share views on social identity issues regarding marriage. Research as an art director conducted to design Nambel Ban's film began with interviews, searching for references and visual data. The contents of this report summarize the theories, designs, processes, and final results of Nambel Ban's film.
