Abstract

Latar Belakang: Kontrasepsi merupakan upaya pencegahan menempelnya sel telur yang telah dibuahi oleh sel sperma ke dinding rahim. Provinsi Banten memiliki pasangan usia subur terbanyak kedua dimana jumlah PUSnya sebanyak 2.448.052 jiwa, tetapi untuk jumlah peserta KB baru hanya memiliki peserta 269.608 jiwa atau 11,01% (Data & Informasi Profil Kesehatan, 2016). Jumlah PUS di Puskesmas Binong Banten tahun 2019 sebanyak 15.886 jiwa dengan jumlah pasangan yang menggunakan KB sebanyak 9.429 jiwa. Tujuan penelitian: Untuk mengetahui Tingkat Pengetahuan Pasangan Usia Subur Tentang Metode Kontrasepsi di Puskesmas Binong Tangerang Banten. Metode penelitian: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan penelitian bersifat deskriptif analitik. Sampel penelitian merupakan 381 PUS yang berada di Puskesmas Binong, menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan yaitu analisa univariat. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner yang telah dilakukan uji VR terlebih dahulu.Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Januari sampai April 2021. Hasil Penelitian: Tingkat pengetahuan PUS tingkat tinggi sebanyak 181 pasang, sedang sebanyak 171 pasang, dan rendah sebanyak 29 pasang. Kesimpulan:Tingkat pengetahuan PUS tentang metode kontrasepsi di Puskesmas Binong memiliki pengetahuan yang tinggi, sebanyak 171 (46.8%) pasang. Saran: Diharapkan penelitian ini dapat digunakan untuk penelitian bagi para perawat dalam mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan pasangan usia subur. / Background: Contraception is a thing to prevent the attachment of fertilized egg cell to the uterine. Banten has the second highest number of couples of childbearing age where the number is 2,448,052 people, but the number of new family planning participants has 269,608 participants or 11.01% (Health Profile Data & Information, 2016). The number of PUS at Puskesmas Binong in 2019 was 15,886 people with the number of couples using family planning as many as 9,429 people. The research objective: To determine the level of knowledge of fertile aged couples about the contraceptive method at Puskesmas Binong. Research method: This study uses quantitative methods with descriptive analytic research. The research sample was 381 PUS in Binong Health Center, using purposive sampling method. The data analysis technique used is univariate analysis. The research instrument used a questionnaire that had been tested for VR first. The research was conducted from January to April 2021. Results: The high level of knowledge of EFA was 181 pairs, 171 pairs were moderate, and 29 pairs low. Conclusion: The level of knowledge of PUS about contraceptive methods at Puskesmas Binong has a high knowledge, as many as 171 (46.8%) pairs. Suggestion: It’s hoped this research can be used for research for nurses in determining the level of knowledge of couples of reproductive age.
