Abstract

In order to compete in this globalization era, company needs to pay attention to its employees performance. The purpose of doing this research is to find out how much the influence of work discipline toward employees performance conducted at UD. Sing Motor. This research uses theories about work discipline and employees performance. The framework of this research is to figure out the relationship between work discipline and employees performance. The data collection techniques used in this study is quantitative, descriptive, and correlation approach, which include questionnaires distribution. Moreover, the writer use census sampling technique, which all population can become sample. Questionnaires were given to UD. Sing Motor employees with the total of 34 employees. The data collected are considered valid, reliable, normal and linear. Based on the result of the research, it is stated that simple linear regression showed equation of Y = 23.060 + 0.423X. Which means that work discipline has a straight relationship towards employees performance. When the work discipline increase, the employees performance will also increase. At the end of the research, the research shows that work discipline has impact towards employees performance at UD. Sing Motor. On the correlation test, it shows that the variable has a positive impact towards other, which the determination test stated it has 40.3% of effect. The recommendation from the writer for the next researcher is to explain more about other factor that impact the employees performance.
