Abstract

Host adalah orang pertama yang tampil untuk membawakan sebuah acara, dimana memiliki tugas yaitu mengumumkan, memberitahu serta melakukan pelaksanaan setiap acara yang telah disusun. Acara yang dilakukan menggunakan media sosial Instagram dimana memiliki target penonton yaitu anak muda. Penulis ditempatkan di Divisi Social Media Admin dan menjadi sebuah host talkshow di media sosial Instagram dalam sebuah organisasi pendidikan yaitu Lentera Membangun Bangsa. Penulis juga bekerja ditempat Divisi tersebut sehingga menjadi sebuah perwakilan dari organisasi untuk menciptakan citra dan reputasi yang baik dan semakin terkenal di kalangan anak muda dengan melakukan kolaborasi dengan influencer anak muda. Hal ini juga bertujuan agar masyarakat tertarik untuk melakukan donasi. Konten dari talkshow tersebut juga mengedukasi untuk melakukan donasi dan peduli terhadap saudara-saudara yang ada di seluruh Indonesia. Kegiatan acara talkshow tersebut menggunakan konsep ilmu komunikasi karena kemampuan komunikasi, membangun suasana yang menyenangkan sehingga penonton yang menonton acara ini tidak memiliki rasa bosan dan mendapatkan sesuatu yang baru dalam melakukan berdonasi. Donasi tersebut dilakukan bisa berupa uang, pakaian dan sebagainya. / The host is the first person to appear to present an event, which has the task of announcing, notifying and carrying out the implementation of every event that has been arranged. The event was conducted using social media Instagram which has a target audience of young people. The author was placed in the Social Media Admin Division and became a talkshow host on Instagram social media in an educational organization, Lentera Build the Nation. The author also works in the Division's place so that he becomes a representative of the organization to create a good image and reputation and is increasingly popular among young people by collaborating with youth influencers. It also aims to attract people to make donations. Because the content of the talk show also educates about making donations and caring for brothers and sisters throughout Indonesia. The talk show activity uses the concept of Communication Science because of communication skills, it builds a pleasant atmosphere so that viewers who watch this event do not feel bored and get something new in making donations. Donations can be in the form of money, clothes and so on.
