Abstract

Katering adalah suatu usaha dibidang jasa dalam menyediakan atau melayani permintaan makanan untuk berbagai macam keperluan, contohnya acara seminar, pernikahan, dan lain sebagainya. Pemesanan katering merupakan kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh konsumen untuk membeli suatu produk berupa paket makanan. Proses bisnis katering saat ini masih mengalami beberapa kendala yakni masih sering dilakukan secara konvensional sehingga sangat kurang efektif dan efisien. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, maka akan dibangun sebuah sistem informasi marketplace katering. Perancangan sistem ini dimulai dari menyusun Use Case Diagram, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan perancangan tampilan dan perancangan basis data. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, dihasilkan sebuah website dan hasil pengujian kuesioner rata-rata mendapat hasil 80% ke atas sehingga dapat dinilai website yang dibangun sangat sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna dan mampu membantu mengatasi permasalahan para penyedia jasa katering untuk memasarkan produknya dan mempermudah konsumen untuk mencari penyedia jasa katering./Catering is a business in the field of services in providing or serving food requests for various purposes, for example seminars, weddings, and so on. Catering orders are activities carried out by consumers to buy a product in the form of food packages. The current catering business process is still experiencing several obstacles, namely it is still often done conventionally so that it is not very effective and efficient. Based on these problems, a catering marketplace information system will be built. The design of this system starts from compiling the Use Case Diagram, then proceeds with the display design and database design. From the results of the research carried out, a website was produced and the results of the questionnaire test averaged 80% and above so that it can be judged that the website built is very in accordance with the needs of users and is able to help overcome the problems of catering service providers to market their products and make it easier for consumers to find catering service provider.
