Abstract

This research was conducted at PT Menara Abadi Medan. In this study, testing and analyze compensation effect employees’ performance at PT Menara Abadi Medan. PT Menara Abadi Medan is a family business company. The theory used in this study is related to the theory of compensation and employee performance. In this study, the method used by the author is a quantitative analysis method. The type of data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data was collected through interviews, observation and questionnaires distributed to employees. The population and sample amounted to 38 employees. This study uses a sensus sampling method by taking a number of populations as samples to be tested using SPSS. The scale used to measure variables is the Likert scale. The results of the partial test can be explained that tcount (4.216) > ttable (2.026) and a significant value of 0.000 <0.05, then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, namely: Compensation has an effect on employee performance at PT Menara Abadi Medan. The Determination Coefficient Test results in table 4.30 obtained R square value of 0.331, this means 33,1% of the employee performance (Y) which can be explained by the compensation (X) while the remaining 66,9% is explained by other variables which was not used in this study such as work discipline, promotion, motivation. The conclusion in this study that there is the compensation effect employee performance at PT Menara Abadi Medan./ Penelitian ini dilakukan di PT Menara Abadi Medan. Dalam penelitian ini menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh kompensasi terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT Menara Abadi Medan. PT Menara Abadi Medan adalah perusahaan bisnis keluarga. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berkaitan dengan teori kompensasi dan kinerja pegawai. Dalam penelitian ini metode yang digunakan penulis adalah metode analisis kuantitatif. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi dan penyebaran kuesioner kepada karyawan. Populasi sebagai sampel berjumlah 38 karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode sensus sampling dengan mengambil sejumlah populasi sebagai sampel untuk diuji menggunakan SPSS. Skala yang digunakan untuk mengukur variabel adalah skala likert. Hasil uji parsial dapat dijelaskan bahwa thitung (4,216)> ttabel (2,026) dan nilai signifikan 0,000 <0,05 maka Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak yaitu: Kompensasi berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT Menara Abadi. Medan. Hasil Uji Koefisien Determinasi pada tabel 4.30 diperoleh nilai R square sebesar 0,331 artinya 33,1% kinerja pegawai (Y) yang dapat dijelaskan oleh kompensasi (X) sedangkan sisanya 66,9% dijelaskan oleh variabel lain. Yang tidak digunakan dalam penelitian ini seperti disiplin kerja, promosi jabatan, motivasi. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini bahwa terdapat pengaruh kompensasi terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT Menara Abadi Medan.
