Abstract

Human resources are an important component in every business. The turnover of human resources can affect the business severely. Work environment is one of the factors which affect the comfortability at work. It can be either physical or behavioral components that affect employees during their work. The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence that work environment has on turnover intention at Sekolah Brigjend Katamso I in Medan Sunggal. The design used by the author is quantitative research with survey method. The data collected for this research is through interviews and questionnaires. The population used for this research is all 47 teachers at SMA Brigjend Katamso I which is also the sample. The pretest is conducted on 30 teachers at SMP Brigjend Katamso I. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that work environment has an effect on turnover intention at Sekolah Brigjend Katamso I in Medan Sunggal with the coefficient of determination test results is 52.5%. From the linear regression, it can also be seen that work environment has a negative effect on turnover intention. As for recommendations, the school is recommended to use Google Form – Quiz feature, hire more teachers, a simpler and often gatherings, use Good Work Index assessment annually, appoint Guru Tetap Yayasan, increase salary, provide allowances for transport and health checkup, as well as schedule meeting between teachers and foundation’s staff. In addition, the company should also consider other factors that are not discussed in this research./Sumber daya manusia adalah komponen penting dalam setiap bisnis. Keinginan berpindah dari sumber daya manusia bisa mempengaruhi bisnis dengan sangat buruk. Lingkungan kerja merupakan salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kenyamanan dalam bekerja. Ini bisa berupa komponen fisik atau perilaku yang memengaruhi karyawan selama bekerja. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap keinginan berpindah pada Sekolah Brigjend Katamso I di Medan Sunggal. Desain yang digunakan penulis adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dan kuesioner. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh 47 guru di SMA Brigjend Katamso I yang juga menjadi sampel. Pra-tes dilakukan terhadap 30 guru di SMP Brigjend Katamso I. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa lingkungan kerja berpengaruh terhadap keinginan berpindah pada Sekolah Brigjend Katamso I Medan Sunggal dengan hasil uji koefisien determinasi sebesar 52,5%. Dari hasil regresi linier juga terlihat bahwa lingkungan kerja berpengaruh negatif terhadap turnover intention. Sebagai rekomendasi, sekolah disarankan untuk menggunakan Google Form – fitur Quiz, mempekerjakan lebih banyak guru, mengadakan acara berkumpul yang lebih sederhana dan lebih sering, menggunakan penilaian Good Work Index setiap tahun, mengangkat Guru Tetap Yayasan, menaikkan gaji, memberikan tunjangan transportasi dan pemeriksaan kesehatan, serta menjadwalkan pertemuan antara guru dan staf yayasan. Selain itu, sekolah juga harus mempertimbangkan faktor-faktor lain yang tidak dibahas dalam penelitian ini.
