Abstract

PT XYZ merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang konstruksi greenhouse dimulai dari proses pembangunan fondasi awal hingga bangunan berdiri. Pada proses konstruksi dibutuhkan berbagai macam material bangunan yang harus diadakan dengan cepat dan tepat. Untuk mencapai kebutuhan tersebut sistem pembelian harus bekerja dengan maksimal. Akan tetapi pada PT XYZ masih ditemukan masalah terutama pada proses sistem pembelian perusahaan yang masih dilakukan secara manual. Hal ini menyebabkan terjadinya inconsistency data dan redundancy data, selain itu ditemukan juga masalah penarikan data yang tidak akurat dan data yang memiliki risiko tinggi untuk hilang atau rusak. Untuk itu penelitian ini dijalankan dengan tujuan untuk merancang sistem informasi pembelian untuk memenuhi kebutuhan proses bisnis pembelian pada PT XYZ. Sistem informasi ini dirancang dengan menggunakan metode System Development Life Cycle Design dan dengan menggunakan software Microsoft Access 2016. Metode ini mencakup kegiatan perencanaan, analisis, design, dan implementasi sistem pada perusahaan. Pada proses implementasi perusahaan dilakukan pengukuran efektivitas sistem dalam memenuhi kebutuhan user sistem. Dari hasil pengukuran efektivitas sistem, sistem yang dirancang dinilai sangat efektif untuk memenuhi dimensi kepuasan pengguna dengan rata-rata skor sebesar 17,86 dan dimensi kemudahan akses data dengan rata-rata skor sebesar 18,5 serta dimensi keamanan data dengan rata-rata skor sebesar 19./PT XYZ is a company that engaged in construction for agriculture needs for example greenhouses. The construction process starts from opening the land field for the building area until the building stands. However, the company’s purchasing system was found undeveloped well because of the process that was done manually. This process could cause data inconsistency, data redundancy, problem retrieving the data, and inaccurate data. Because the problem could cause such problem, this research was carried out with the aim of designing a purchasing information system that meets the needs of the user system and the business process. This information system was designed using System Development Life Cycle Design method and Microsoft Access 2016 for building the system. This method includes planning, analysis, design, and implementation activities in the company. While implementing the system, there is also another activity which measure the effectiveness of the new system. As the results, the system was considered capable of fulfilling every existing aspect with total score of 17.86 for user satisfaction, 18.5 for data access, and 19 for data security.
