Abstract

In this study, was tested the influence of work environment on employee work productivity at PT Mitra Karya Prima Mesindo Medan. The theory used in this study is related to the theory of work environment and employee work productivity. In this study, the method used by the author is a quantitative analysis method. The type of data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data was collected through interviews, observation and questionnaires distributed to employees. The population and sample amounted to 36 employees. This study uses a sensus sampling method by taking a number of populations as samples to be tested using SPSS. The scale used to measure variables is the Likert scale. The results of the partial test can be explained that tcount (7.071) > ttable (2.032) and a significant value 0.000 <0.05, then work environment effect employees work productivity at PT Mitra Karya Prima Mesindo Medan. The coefficient of determination which can be seen from the results of the R square of 0.595. This means that the employee work productivity of 59.5% is explained by work environment and the remaining 40.5% is explained by other variables outside of this research, namely morale, discipline, and compensation The conclusion in this study that the work environment influence employees work productivity at PT Mitra Karya Prima Mesindo Medan./Dalam penelitian ini menguji pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap produktivitas kerja karyawan pada PT Mitra Karya Prima Mesindo Medan. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berkaitan dengan teori lingkungan kerja dan produktivitas kerja karyawan. Dalam penelitian ini metode yang digunakan penulis adalah metode analisis kuantitatif. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi dan penyebaran kuesioner kepada karyawan. Populasi sebagai sampel berjumlah 36 karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode sensus sampling dengan mengambil sejumlah populasi sebagai sampel untuk diuji menggunakan SPSS. Skala yang digunakan untuk mengukur variabel adalah skala likert. Hasil uji parsial dapat dijelaskan bahwa thitung (7,071)> ttabel (2,032) dan nilai signifikan 0,000 <0,05, maka lingkungan kerja berpengaruh terhadap produktivitas kerja karyawan pada PT Mitra Karya Prima Mesindo. Koefisien determinasi yang dapat dilihat dari hasil R square sebesar 0,595. Artinya produktivitas kerja pegawai sebesar 59,5% dijelaskan oleh lingkungan kerja dan sisanya 40,5% dijelaskan oleh variabel lain di luar penelitian ini yaitu moral, disiplin, dan kompensasi. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini bahwa ada pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap produktivitas kerja karyawan pada PT Mitra Karya Prima Mesindo.
