Abstract

The purpose of this skirpsi is to conduct a research on the effect of leadership toward employee performance. The research is conducted in J&T Aceh Besar. Leadership is the part of organization element which that has the capacity to change the company success outcome leadership has become one of the virtues needs in every organization to achieve the company goals. Which in this research, the author would find the effect of leadership toward the employee performance. For the following design for this research, the author used descriptive method and correlation method. Primary data and secondary data are the data that would be used for this research. The descriptive statistic is done by collecting, processing, presenting and interpreting data in order to obtain a clear description of problems faced and the results of the calculation. In order to fulfill the data analysis, the research would be researched by using descriptive statistic, validity test, normality test, and coefficient of correlation, coefficient of determination, linearity test, f-test and t-test. This research uses quantitative approach to analyze the equation model and processed using SPSS from IBM. The samples used in this research are the employees of J&T Aceh Besar which the characteristic of the employee will be based on employee age, gender, and education and working experience. The final output of this research has shown a relation of impact between leadership and employee performance at J&T Aceh Besar as there are proves that leadership has positive significant value on employee performance.
