Abstract

Indonesia adalah negara agraris dimana pertanian merupakan salah satu penyokong utama dalam mendukung ketahanan pangan. Dimulai dengan peningkatan penggunaan pupuk organik, salah satunya pupuk organik cair. Jumlah kebutuhan petani terhadap pupuk organik adalah sebesar 12,4 juta ton. Sedangkan dengan dibantu empat perusahaan badan usaha milik negara, jumlah kebutuhan yang dapat dipenuhi adalah 10,8% saja. Terdapat peluang yang besar untuk membuat bisnis pupuk organik cair berdasarkan jumlah kebutuhan pupuk organik yang amat tinggi. Sebelum membuat bisnis, perlu dilakukan riset pasar dan studi kelayakan bisnis menggunakan aspek pasar & pemasaran, aspek teknis & operasional, aspek hukum & manajemen, serta aspek keuangan. Riset pasar dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner pada komunitas petani organik. Pada aspek pasar & pemasaran, diperoleh hasil bahwa terdapat tingginya permintaan dan kecilnya persaingan. Pada aspek teknis dan operasional, diperoleh hasil uji coba pupuk OCIAN dan lokasi bisnis yang strategis. Pada aspek hukum diperoleh data bentuk usaha, langkah, dan dokumen yang diperlukan. Sedangkan pada aspek manajemen, diperoleh data banyak pekerja yang dibutuhkan dan deskripsi pekerjaannya. Pada aspek keuangan diperoleh data mencakup biaya yang dibutuhkan untuk memulai usaha dan hasil perhitungan penilaian investasi yang terdiri dari hasil payback period pada bulan maret tahun pertama bisnis dijalankan mengalami keuntungan, IRR sebesar 473.83% > MARR yakni 34,56%, dan nilai NPV > 0 sebesar Rp 340,847,497. Berdasarkan empat aspek penilaian studi kelayakan bisnis dan perhitungan penilaian investasi, diambil kesimpulan bahwa bisnis pupuk organik cair dari ikan lemuru layak untuk dijalankan. / Indonesia is an agricultural country where agriculture is one of the main supporters in supporting food security. Starting with an increase in the use of organic fertilizers, one of which is liquid organic fertilizer. The farmer's need for organic fertilizer is 12.4 million tons. Meanwhile, with the assistance of four state-owned enterprises, the number of needs that can be met is only 10.8%. There is a great opportunity to create a liquid organic fertilizer business based on the very high demand for organic fertilizer. Before starting a business, it is necessary to conduct market research and business feasibility studies using market & marketing aspects, technical & operational aspects, legal & management aspects, and financial aspects. Market research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to the organic farming community. In the market & marketing aspect, the results show that there is high demand and little competition. In the technical and operational aspects, the results of OCIAN fertilizer trials and strategic business locations were obtained. In the legal aspect, data on business forms, steps, and documents are obtained. Meanwhile, in the management aspect, data on the number of workers needed and job descriptions were obtained. In the financial aspect, the data obtained include the costs required to start a business and the results of the calculation of the investment assessment consisting of the results of the payback period in March the first year the business was run experiencing profits, IRR of 473.83% > MARR of 34.56%, and NPV value > 0 amounting to Rp 340,847,497. Based on the four aspects of the business feasibility study assessment and investment assessment calculations, it is concluded that the liquid organic fertilizer business from lemuru fish is feasible to run.
