Abstract

In today’s modern era, the role of human resources is important for better company development. Such as creativity, effectiveness, productivity is part of human resources that will become the competitiveness of the company, thus it is important to maintain and improve the quality of its human resources to remain competitive. This research was conducted to examine work discipline and leadership towards employee performance at CV. Karimun, and these two variables of work discipline and leadership aim to discover the condition of employee performance at CV. Karimun. This research uses a quantitative approach to analyzing data and uses the SPSS v.25.0 to process data, which is obtained through primary data and secondary data. Samples were taken as many as 32 employees who are division production employees of CV. Karimun and the method used to take the sample is probability method, i.e., census sampling method. The results of this research indicate the variable work discipline and variable leadership had a significant effect on employee performance variables. Leadership variable more affected employee performance with the coefficient regression value of 0.443, while the work discipline variable has a coefficient regression value of 0.32./Di era modern sekarang, peran sumber daya manusia sangat penting dalam perkembangan suatu perusahaan menjadi lebih baik. Seperti kreativitas, efektivitas, produktivitas merupakan bagian dari sumber daya manusian yang akan menjadi daya saing perusahaan, sehingga sangat penting untuk menjaga dan meningkatkan kualitas dari sumber daya manusia yang dimiliki untuk tetap dapat bersaing. Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk meneliti disiplin kerja dan kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada CV. Karimun, dimana kedua variabel dari disiplin kerja dan kepemimpinan bertujuan untuk mengetahui keadaan dari kinerja karyawan pada CV. Karimun. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif untuk menganalisis data dan menggunakan program SPSS v.25.0 untuk mengolah data, yang diperoleh melalui data primer dan data sekunder. Sampel yang diambil sebanyak 32 orang karyawan yang merupakan karyawan divisi produksi CV. Karimun dan metode yang digunakan untuk mengambil sampel adalah metode probability, yaitu sensus sampling method. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa variabel disiplin kerja dan variabel kepemimpinan adanya efek yang signifikan terhadap variabel kinerja karyawan. Variabel kepemimpinan lebih mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan dengan nilai koefisien regresi sebesar 0.443, sedangkan variabel disiplin kerja memiliki nilai koefisien regresi sebesar 0.320.
