Abstract

Penjualan penting untuk diperhatikan dalam suatu perusahaan, karena melalui penjualan, perusahaan dapat menerima laba. Penjualan juga sangat erat kaitannya dengan persediaan, karena jika persediaan tidak ada maka proses penjualan tidak dapat berlangsung. Namun, pencatatan persediaan dan penjualan pada CV. Nilafa masih manual sehingga memakan waktu lama dan tidak jarang terjadi kesalahan. Oleh karena itu, Penulis merancang sistem informasi penjualan dan persediaan berbasis web dengan metode Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Sistem tersebut dirancang menggunakan bahasa pemograman ASP.NET dan C#, serta SQL Server untuk keperluan database. Sistem informasi penjualan dan persediaan ini dapat membantu perusahaan dalam mengetahui jumlah persediaan dengan cepat, mencatat barang masuk dan keluar, membantu menyimpan data-data customer, mengurangi kemungkinan terjadinya kesalahan maupun kelalaian terutama yang diakibatkan oleh human error, menghasilkan laporan dengan mudah dan cepat dan dapat disaring sesuai keinginan user, serta perkiraan barang yang laris terjual sehingga dapat diperkirakan barang apa yang harus dibeli / disediakan lagi melalui sistem informasi yang dibuat./Sales are important to note in a company, because through sales that the company can receive a profit. Sales are also very closely related to inventory, because if there is no inventory then the sales process do not exist. However, the recording of inventory and sales on CV. Nilafa is still manual so it takes a long time and errors are not uncommon. Therefore, the author designed a web-based sales and inventory information system using the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method. The system is designed using ASP.NET and C# programming languages, as well as SQL Server for database purposes. This sales and inventory information system can help companies find out the amount of inventory quickly, record incoming and outgoing goods, help store customer data, reduce the possibility of errors or omissions, especially those caused by human error, generate reports easily and quickly and can filtered according to the user's wishes, as well as estimates of the best-selling items so that it can be estimated what items must be purchased / provided again through the created information system.
