Abstract

PT. Charman Putra Interbuana merupakan salah satu cabang perusahaan dari AKLI (Asosiasi Kontraktor Listrik Indonesia) yang berdiri di Medan, Sumatera Utara pada tahun 2015 yang bergerak dibidang instalatir listrik dan tergabung dalam HILI (Himpunan Instalatir Listrik Indonesia). untuk mengontrol persediaan stok alat listrik, PT. Charman Putra Interbuana menggunakan sistem manual dengan memakai buku sebagai media pencatatan data yang masuk sehingga dapat dibayangkan sulitnya mendapatkan informasi keadaan dan jumlah alat listrik yang telah dipasarkan ke konsumen dan pengaruhnya terhadap stok antara lain adalah adanya kesalahan informasi yang diberikan kepada pelanggan yang ingin memesan barang, adanya ketidak-cocokan antara stok asli dan catatan stok dibuku yang tidak diketahui mengakibatkan tidak dilakukannya re-stock sehingga menghambat proses bisnis perusahaan. untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut, maka perlu disediakan sebuah aplikasi persediaan terkomputerisasi yang dirancang dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman microsoft visual basic.net 2013 dan penyimpanan data menggunakan aplikasi database microsoft sql server 2012. aplikasi persediaan terkomputerisasi ini diharapkan mampu menyelesaikan permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh perusahaan dalam penerapan sistem berjalan./PT. Charman Putra Interbuana is a branch company of AKLI (Association of Indonesian Electrical Contractors) which was established in Medan, North Sumatra in 2015 which is engaged in electrical installations and is a member of HILI (Indonesian Electrical Installer Association). to control the stock of electrical equipment, PT. Charman Putra Interbuana uses a manual system by using a book as a medium for recording incoming data so you can imagine the difficulty of getting information on the state and number of electrical equipment that has been marketed to consumers and its effect on stock, among others, is the error of information given to customers who want to order goods, there is a discrepancy between the original stock and the unknown stock records in the book resulting in no re-stock, thus hampering the company's business processes. to solve these problems, it is necessary to provide a computerized inventory application designed using the microsoft visual basic.net 2013 programming language and data storage using the microsoft sql server 2012 database application. this computerized inventory application is expected to be able to solve the problems faced by companies in implementing the current system.
