Abstract

CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) and PR (Public Relation) is part of the important factor to support company in having sustainable profit which the business that applied CSR and PR most likely to create a favorable company image compare to the business that do not implement CSR and PR. The purpose of doing this study is to analyze the influence of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) and PR (Public relation) towards CI (Company Image). Furthermore, this study will also help the company and researcher to understand and achieve more knowledge in this field. This research is conducted with census sampling method with all the 38 employees in CV Sukses Abadi, Medan. Pre-test is conducted from the additional of 31 respondents from another company with the similar business. As for the primary data it is obtained by interview and giving questionnaire while the secondary data is obtained from government publication and journal. The research is using quantitative design and IBM SPSS Statistics 25 application. Data is analyzed using multiple regression linear, T-test and F- test. For the equation of this study is Y = -6.800 + (0.485) CSR + (0.701) PR + 4.483. The correlation coefficient of CSR and PR towards company image is 0.856 where there is strong influence between X1, X2 and Y as for the R square is 0.732 which means that corporate social responsibility and public relation influence company image by 73.2% as for the rest of 26.8% is influence by another factors. For the F-test result, the fcount is 47.777 which showing that CSR and PR simultaneously influence company image. As the T-test result showing that the tcount for CSR is 3.294 and PR is 3.323 which showing that CSR and PR have partial influence towards company image./CSR dan humas merupakan bagian dari faktor penting untuk mendukung perusahaan dalam memperoleh laba yang berkelanjutan dimana bisnis yang menerapkan kedua ini paling mungkin untuk menciptakan citra perusahaan yang menguntungkan dibandingkan dengan bisnis yang tidak menerapkannya. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh CSR (Tanggung Jawab Sosial) dan PR (Hubungan Masyaraakt) terhadap CI (Citra Perusahaan). Selanjutnya, penelitian ini juga akan membantu perusahaan dan peneliti untuk memahami dan mencapai lebih banyak pengetahuan di bidang ini. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode sensus sampling dengan jumlah 38 karyawan di CV Sukses Abadi, Medan. Pre-test dilakukan dari tambahan 31 responden dari perusahaan lain dengan bisnis sejenis. Adapun data primer diperoleh dengan wawancara dan pemberian kuesioner sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari publikasi dan jurnal pemerintah. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kuantitatif dan menggunakan aplikasi IBM SPSS Statistics 25. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linier berganda, uji-T dan uji-F. Untuk persamaan penelitian ini adalah Y = -6.800 + (0.485) CSR + (0.701) PR + 4.483. Koefisien korelasi CSR dan PR terhadap citra perusahaan adalah 0,856 menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang kuat antara X1, X2 dan Y sedangkan untuk R square adalah 0,732 yang berarti bahwa CSR dan PR mempengaruhi citra perusahaan sebesar 73,2% sedangkan sisanya 26,8% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Untuk hasil uji F diperoleh fcount sebesar 47,777 yang menunjukkan bahwa CSR dan PR secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap citra perusahaan. Hasil uji-t menunjukkan bahwa tcount untuk CSR adalah 3,294 dan PR adalah 3,323 yang menunjukkan bahwa CSR dan PR memiliki pengaruh parsial terhadap citra perusahaan.
