Abstract

The Royal Idi Hotel is one of the hotels located in East Aceh. Even though this hotel is quite famous in the East Aceh area, there are still employees who often come late for work. This is due to the decreasing number of employee training participation and low in employee compensation. The aim of this research is to find whether Training and Compensation have effect on Employees’ Performance at The Royal Idi Hotel, East Aceh. Training give employees new experience that can be used to improve their work performance to become better and meet the standard. Besides that, compensation is also an important factor as a motivation for employees to help them increase in productivity and improve in work performance. This research used quantitative, descriptive, and causal approach. The writer used a saturated sampling (census) technique, means that all the population are used as the samples. Therefore, the population will be all employees who worked at The Royal Idi Hotel numbered 56 people. The results of this research have passed the validity, reliability, normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity tests. Based on the hypothesis testing, Training and Compensation have effect on Employees’ Performance at The Royal Idi Hotel, East Aceh, either partially or simultaneously. Recommendation for the company are to update the trainer skills facilitated with technology, give trainer more seminars, implement proper compensation system, make an agreement procedure, provide work motivation, create monthly survey, etc. So, employees can perform better in completing the tasks./ The Royal Idi Hotel adalah salah satu hotel yang berlokasi di daerah Aceh Timur. Meskipun hotel ini cukup terkenal di daerah Aceh Timur, akan tetapi masih terdapat karyawan yang sering datang terlambat untuk bekerja. Hal ini dikarenakan menurunnya jumlah partisipasi pelatihan karyawan dan rendahnya kompensasi karyawan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah Pelatihan dan kompensasi berpengaruh terhadap Kinerja Karyawan di The Royal Idi Hotel, Aceh Timur. Pelatihan memberikan pengalaman baru pada karyawan dimana bisa membantu meningkatkan kinerja menjadi lebih baik dan sesuai standar. Selain itu, kompensasi juga merupakan faktor penting sebagai motivasi bagi karyawan untuk membantu meningkatkan produktivitas dan performa kerja mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, deskriptif, dan kausal. Penulisan menggunakan Teknik sampel jenuh (sensus), artinya semua populasi dijadikan sampel. Oleh karena itu, populasinya adalah seluruh karyawan berjumlah 56 orang yang bekerja di The Royal Idi Hotel. Hasil penelitian ini telah memenuhi uji validitas, reliabilitas, normalitas, multikolinearitas dan heteroskedastisitas. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis, Pelatihan dan Kompensasi berpengaruh terhadap Kinerja Karyawan di The Royal Idi Hotel, Aceh Timur, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Rekomendasi untuk perusahaan adalah memperbarui ketrampilan pelatih yang difasilitasi dengan teknologi, memberikan lebih banyak seminar kepada pelatih, menerapkan sistem kompensasi yang tepat, membuat prosedur kesepakatan, memberikan motivasi kerja, membuat survei bulanan, dll. Sehingga karyawan dapat bekerja lebih baik dalam menyelesaikan tugas.
