Abstract

This research was conducted at PT. Capella Dinamik Nusantara Medan. The purpose of this study is to test and analyze the influence of job promotion towards employees’ performance at PT. Capella Dinamik Nusantara Medan. PT. Capella Dinamik Nusantara Medan is a family business company. Job promotion system that is not implemented properly causes employees to lack enthusiasm in improving their performance in the PT. Capella Dinamik Nusantara Medan. Based on preliminary surveys at PT. Capella Dinamik Nusantara Medan that there was a decline in employee performance at this company The theory used in this study is related to the theory of job promotion and employee performance. In this study, the method used by the author is a quantitative analysis method. The type of data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data was collected through interviews, observation and questionnaires distributed to employees. The population amounted to 193 employees and samples in the study amounted to 130 employees. This study uses a random sampling method by taking a number of populations as samples to be tested using SPSS. The scale used to measure variables is the Likert scale. The value of significant 0.000 <0.05, then hypothesis is accepted, the meaning job promotion iinfluences employee performance at PT. Capella Dinamik Nusantara Medan. This shows that the contribution of the influence of job promotion on employee performance is 32.5%. This means that the independent variable is able to explain 32.5% of the dependent variable while the remaining 67.5% is influenced by other variables that are not included in the model The conclusion in this study that job promotion influences employee performance at PT. Capella Dinamik Nusantara Medan, with the promotion of a good employees can increase employee performance./Penelitian ini dilakukan di PT. Capella Dinamik Nusantara Medan. Dalam penelitian ini menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh promosi jabatan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT. Capella Dinamik Nusantara Medan. PT. Capella Dinamik Nusantara Medan adalah perusahaan bisnis keluarga. Sistem promosi jabatan yang tidak dilaksanakan dengan baik menyebabkan karyawan kurang semangat dalam meningkatkan kinerjanya di PT. Capella Dinamik Nusantara Medan. Berdasarkan survey pendahuluan di PT. Capella Dinamik Nusantara Medan yang mengalami penurunan kinerja karyawan pada perusahaan ini Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berkaitan dengan teori promosi jabatan dan kinerja karyawan. Dalam penelitian ini metode yang digunakan penulis adalah metode analisis kuantitatif. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observation dan penyebaran kuesioner kepada karyawan. Populasi berjumlah 193 karyawan dan sampel dalam penelitian berjumlah 130 karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode random sampling dengan mengambil sejumlah populasi sebagai sampel untuk diuji menggunakan SPSS. Skala yang digunakan untuk mengukur variabel adalah skala likert. Nilai signifikansi 0,000 <0,05, maka hipotesis diterima, artinya Promosi Kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT. Capella Dinamik Nusantara Medan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penyajian kontribusi pengaruh promosi jabatan terhadap kinerja karyawan sebesar 32,5%. Artinya variabel independen mampu menjelaskan 32,5% variabel dependen sedangkan sisanya 67,5% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak termasuk dalam model. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini bahwa ada pengaruh promosi jabatan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT. Capella Dinamik Nusantara Medan. Dengan promosi jabatan yang baik dapat meningkatkan kinerja karyawan.
