Abstract
Background: Stunting is a poor growth in children under five due to malnutrition so that the child looks shorter than his age. One of the causes of stunting is a mother's feeding aid in toddlers. Feeding children. Inadequate knowledge of mothers and families increases. Aim: To indentify the level of mother's knowledge about feeding and the level of family expenditure on stunting in toddlers aged 24- 60 months at Posyandu Melati 4 Binong Village. Method: This research uses quantitative research methods using correlational. The number of research samples were 36 people with a purposive sampling technique. The instrument used was a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques used the chi-square test. The study was conducted in April-May 2020. Results: The results showed that most mothers had a high school education level (63.9%), for the mother's knowledge level about feeding at most 72.2% were well-informed, family income helped low (63.9%), and most toddlers are not obstructed by stunting as much as 63.9%. The p value between there was no relationship between the level of mother's knowledge about feeding (p = 0.076) and the level of family income (p = 0.292) with the incidence of stunting. Recommendation: For a mother, it is recommended to take part in Posyandu and look for other information about toddler nutrition.
