Abstract

Financial performance is a subjective measure of how well a company can use assets from its primary business and generate revenue. One of the most important goals in establishing a company is to improve the welfare of its owners or shareholders. Prosperity can be increased or seen from the company’s good performance, one of which is financial performance because the company’s financial performance can provide information about the company’s goals or success. The purpose of this research is to examine the effect of good corporate governance to the financial performance of manufacturing companies in Indonesia for 2017 – 2019. The dependent variable used in this research is Financial Performance, while the independent variable is Managerial Ownership, Institutional Ownership, Board of Directors, Board of Commissioners, Independent Board of Commissioners, and Audit Committee. The purpose of this research is to examine the effect of Good Corporate Governance towards the Financial Performance. This research is conducted by using quantitative research method using secondary data. The samples are obtained by using purposive sampling method to obtain samples from a population of 143 companies according to criteria. The total sample of this research is 50 samples determined from 150 companies with the period of 3 years. The data analysis of this research is using multiple linear regression analysis and SPSS 25 / Kinerja Keuangan adalah ukuran subjektif tentang seberapa baik perusahaan dapat menggunakan aset dari bisnis utamanya. Salah satu tujuan terpenting dalam mendirikan suatu perusahaan adalah untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan pemilik atau pemegang sahamnya. Kemakmuran perusahaan dapat ditingkatkan dan dilihat melalui kinerja perusahaan yang baik, terutama kinerja keuangan yang dapat memberikan informasi tentang tujuan atau keberhasilan perusahaan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh tata kelola perusahaan yang baik terhadap kinerja keuangan perusahaan manufaktur di Indonesia pada tahun 2017 – 2019. Variabel terikat yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kinerja keuangan, sedangkan variabel bebasnya adalah kepemilikan manajerial, kepemilikan institusional, dewan direksi, dewan komisaris, dewan komisaris independen, dan komite audit. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode pemelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan data sekunder. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling sehingga diperoleh sampel dari populasi sebanyak 143 perusahaan sesuai kriteria. Jumlah sampel penelitian ini adalah 50 sampel yang ditentukan dari 150 perusahaan dengan jangka waktu 3 tahun. Analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda dan SPSS 25.
