Abstract

Kata Kunci: GERD, DASS-21, Kecemasan, Depresi, Stres, Pandemi COVID-19/Background: In the current pandemic, anxiety, depression, and stress have also increased. Increased feelings of anxiety, depression and stress have been associated with an increased risk of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). I investigate the effects of anxiety, depression, and stress on the pandemic on the increased GERD symptoms. Objective: To study the problem of GERD and the factors associated with GERD in a pandemic situation. Method: In this study, non-probability sampling on 232 subjects was conducted. The research result will be processed with SPSS program version 25.0 and Chi Square method. Subjects who are willing, will fill out a series of questions in the DASS-21 and GERDQ questionnaires. Results: From the 259 respondents were adults 18 to 60 years, it was found that 53 (20.5%) respondents had depression, 123 (47.5%) respondents had anxiety, 42 (16.2%) respondents had stress and 40 (15.4%) respondents had GERD. And found there is a significant relationship between depression and anxiety on GERD in adults aged 18 to 60 years in Indonesia.
