Abstract

Pemahaman dalam taksonomi bloom merupakan bagian dari ranah kognitif yang terletak pada level 2, yakni memahami. Dalam perspektif Kristen pemahaman menunjukkan bahwa manusia adalah gambar dan rupa Allah yang mewarisi sifat Allah, yakni moral, kehendak, kasih, dan rasionalitas. Pengetahuan yang diharapkan dimiliki siswa adalah pengetahuan yang membantunya memahami karya Allah melalui materi pembelajaran, serta tujuan hidupnya, yakni melayani dan menikmati Allah. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kondisi siswa yang belum memahami unsur pembangun puisi secara optimal. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari hasil pengerjaan tugas telaah unsur pembangun puisi yang belum bisa dijawab secara jelas, tuntas dan lengkap, serta respons sikap siswa yang tidak tertib dalam mengumpulkan tugas. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu, memaparkan upaya meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap unsur pembangun teks puisi melalui implementasi pendekatan kontekstual dengan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini, yaitu meningkatnya pemahaman siswa terhadap unsur pembangun puisi yang ditunjukkan dari respons siswa yang mampu mengekspresikan pemahamannya dalam bentuk jawaban tertulis dengan penjelasan yang jelas dan lengkap, menghubungkan materi pembelajaran dengan penerapan pada kehidupan sehari-hari, serta lebih tertib dalam mengumpulkan tugas. Penerapan pendekatan ini perlu mempersiapkan teks puisi yang relevan dengan tujuan pembelajaran dan tujuan pendidikan Kristen serta mempersiapkan pertanyaan panduan yang menuntun siswa dalam menerapkan pendekatan kontekstual./Understanding in Bloom's taxonomy is part of the cognitive domain located at level 2, namely understanding. In the Christian perspective, understanding shows that humans are the image and likeness of God who inherit God's nature, namely morals, will, love, and rationality. The knowledge that students are expected to have is knowledge that helps them understand God's work through learning materials, as well as the purpose of their lives, namely serving and enjoying God. This research is motivated by the condition of students who do not understand the elements of poetry building optimally. This is shown from the results of the task of examining the elements of poetry that cannot be answered clearly, completely, and completely, as well as the response of students' attitudes that are not orderly in collecting assignments. The purpose of this study is to describe efforts to improve students' understanding of the elements of poetry text building through the implementation of a contextual approach with descriptive qualitative research methods. The result of this research, namely increasing students' understanding of the building blocks of poetry as shown in the responses of students who are able to express their understanding in the form of written answers with clear and complete explanations, linking learning materials with application in everyday life, and being more orderly in collecting Duty. The application of this approach needs to prepare poetry texts that are relevant to the learning objectives and goals of Christian education and prepare guiding questions that guide students in applying the contextual approach.
