Abstract

Background: Learning process in Indonesia nursing curricula consists of academic and professional level, which required students to apply clinical, affective and motoric skills. It is aim to prepare professional and competent nurses. Some studies showed that clinical learning process can cause stress in students that might affect student’s academic achievements and well-being. Purpose: To Identify stress level and factors that influenced nursing student’s stress during clinical learning. Methods: This study used a literature review design and using a simplified approach thematic analysis. EBSCO, ProQuest and PubMed were used as databases to gather articles, resulting in four articles to be analysed using a thematic simplified approach and were appraised using Wolliams, et., al critical appraisal. Results: All articles stated that nursing students experienced a moderate level of stress and theme were emaged in this study : (1) relationship, (2) clinical environment, (3) academic demand, and (4) ability. Recommendation: It is recommended for future research to be conducted, using quantitative or qualitative approach to more identify stress level and factors that influenced nursing student’s stress during clinical learning in group of people / Latar Belakang : Proses pembelajaran dalam kurikulum keperawatan yang terdiri dari program akademik dan klinik, ditujukan agar mahasiswa dapat mengaplikasikan keterampilan klinis, afektif dan motorik. Hal ini bertujuan untuk mempersiapkan mahasiswa keperawatan menjadi perawat yang profesional dan kompeten. Beberapa penelitian telah membuktikan bahwa pembelajaran klinik dapat menyebabkan stres pada mahasiswa yang akan memengaruhi prestasi akademik dan kesejahteraan mahasiswa. Tujuan : Mengidentifikasi gambaran tingkat stres dan faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi stres pada mahasiswa di pembelajaran klinik. Metode : Penelitian menggunakan metode kajian literatur dengan menggunakan analisa data tematik dengan pendekatan simplified approach. Serta menggunakan tiga database, yaitu EBSCO, ProQuest dan PubMed dengan kriteria inklusi dan didapatkan empat artikel yang dikai menggunakan critical appraisal Wolliams, et.,al. Hasil : Tingkat stres yang dialami mahasiswa pada semua tingkatan berada pada kategori sedang dan teridentifikasi empat tema terkait faktor-faktor memengaruhi stres (1) relasi, (2) lingkungan klinik (3) tuntutan akademik, dan (4) kemampuan. Rekomendasi : diharapkan dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut dengan metode kualitatif atau kuantitatif untuk mendapatkan gambaran yang lebih mengenai tingkat stres dan faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi stres pada mahasiswa di pembelajaran klinik.
