Abstract
Bila diartikan secara literal, ‘Budaya’ merupakan sebuah tindakan secara teratur dari manusia pada sebuah lingkup masyarakat tertentu. Dapat dikatakan pula, budaya merupakan suatu identitas dari sebuah suku atau kelompok masyarakat. Setiap budaya memiliki perbedaan dan memiliki keunikannya masing-masing, sehingga harus tetap dilestarikan dan dijaga keberadaannya. Tetapi seiring perkembangan zaman, tepatnya di era modern ini, budaya yang ada banyak ditinggalkan. Sian Kong merupakan sebuah film pendek yang mengingatkan masyarakat, khususnya masyarakat Tionghoa bahwa ada budaya yang kami miliki tetapi budaya ini sudah hampir punah. Dengan adanya film ini, penulis berharap budaya Sian Kong dapat terus diingat oleh masyarakat terutama sineas muda di era ini.
