Abstract

Artikel ini membahas sejauh mana dampak negatif perusahaan migas asing terhadap ketersediaan energi dalam negeri di Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia. Eksplorasi migas yang dilakukan oleh perusahaan asing di Indonesia mengurangi ketersediaan migas di Indonesia, hal ini disebabkan oleh kemudahan pemberian izin bagi perusahaan migas asing untuk melakukan eksplorasi migas di Indonesia. Tulisan ini juga membuktikan bahwa eksplorasi yang dilakukan oleh perusahaan migas asing tidak memberikan manfaat atau keuntungan bagi pemerintah Indonesia dan masyarakat di sekitar wilayah eksplorasi. Tulisan ini memberikan masukan bagi pemerintah Indonesia untuk memberikan batasan dan regulasi agar eksplorasi migas di Indonesia oleh perusahaan migas asing tidak berdampak negatif bagi pemerintah dan lingkungan. Revisi peraturan perundang-undangan yang berkaitan dengan pelaksanaan kegiatan eksplorasi harus diubah dan disesuaikan dengan kondisi terkini, dimana banyak dampak negatif dari sisi lingkungan, sosial, dan ketahanan sumber daya minyak dan gas bumi yang buruk dan menurun dari tahun ke tahun. / This article discusses how far the negative impact of foreign oil and gas companies on domestic energy availability in the Republic of Indonesia. Oil and gas exploration carried out by foreign companies in Indonesia reduces the availability of oil and gas in Indonesia, this is due to the ease of granting permits for foreign oil and gas companies to conduct oil and gas exploration in Indonesia. This paper also proves that exploration carried out by foreign oil and gas companies does not provide benefits or benefits for the Indonesian government and the community around the exploration area. This paper provides input for the Indonesian government to provide limits and regulations so that oil and gas exploration in Indonesia by foreign oil and gas companies does not have a negative impact on the government and the environment. Revision of laws and regulations relating to the implementation of exploration activities must be changed and adapted to the latest conditions, where there are many negative impacts from the environmental, social, and resilience side of oil and gas resources which are bad and declining from year to year.
