Abstract

K-Pop (Korean Pop) menjadi salah satu hal yang digemari saat ini. Tubuh ideal yang dimiliki oleh artis K-Pop perempuan dapat dijadikan standar bagi penggemar. Ketika standar dan tubuh asli penggemar tidak sesuai dan sering membandingkan diri dengan tubuh artis K-pop perempuan, hal tersebut dapat memicu munculnya ketidakpuasan tubuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh welas diri terhadap ketidakpuasan perempuan dewasa awal penggemar Korean Pop (K-Pop). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakuakan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada responden yang sesuai dengan kriteria. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Self Compassion Scale (SCS) untuk mengukur welas diri dan Body Shape Questionnaire-34 (BSQ-34) untuk mengukur ketidakpuasan tubuh. Responden yang terkumpul dalam penelitian ini adalah 221 orang. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi dengan program SPSS versi 22. Penelitian ini menemukan adanya pengaruh welas diri secara negatif dan signifikan terhadap ketidakpuasan tubuh pada perempuan dewasa awal penggemar K-Pop. Hal ini berarti ketika welas diri dalam tingkat yang tinggi maka ketidakpuasan tubuh akan semakin rendah, dan sebaliknya/K-Pop (Korean Pop) is one of the things that are popular today. Female K-Pop artists' ideal bodies can be used as a standard for fans. When fans' expectations and actual bodies do not match, and they frequently compare themselves to the bodies of female K-Pop artists, it can lead to body dissatisfaction. This study aims to examine the influence of self-compassion on body dissatisfaction among early adult female fans of Korean Pop (K-Pop). This study uses quantitative research methods. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires to respondents who met the criteria. The measuring instruments used in this study were the Self Compassion Scale (SCS) to measure self-compassion and the Body Shape Questionnaire-34 (BSQ-34) to measure body dissatisfaction. Respondents collected in this study were 221 people. The analytical technique used is regression analysis with the SPSS version 22 program. This study found that there was a negative and significant influence of self-compassion on body dissatisfaction in early adult female K-Pop fans. This means that when self-compassion is at a high level, body dissatisfaction will be lower, and vice versa.
