Abstract

Indonesia menjalankan kerja sama dengan Korea Selatan untuk melaksanakan sebuah kepentingan nasionalnya dengan joint development proyek pesawat tempur KFX/IFX. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kepentingan Indonesia dalam kerja sama dengan Korea Selatan dalam pertahanan negara yang sampai saat ini masih terjalin, mengingat peningkatan hubungan kedua negara ini semakin dekat dan dapat mengetahui kendala proyek pesawat tempur ini. Tidak hanya itu, penelitian ini melihat dampak dari kesepakatan ini terhadap sistem pertahanan Indonesia. Dalam mencapai tujuan penelitian, penulis menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Melalui metode penelitian kualitatif, penulis menggunakan beberapa tinjuan pustaka yang berasal dari jurnal, dokumen, buku, penelitian sebelumnya, sumber-sumber internet, dan teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara digunakan juga. Selain itu, penelitian ini dibangun dengan berlandaskan teori neorealisme, dan juga didukung oleh konsep kerja sama bilateral, kepentingan nasional, balance of threat. Hasil penelitian yang dicapai adalah mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi Indonesia untuk bermitra dengan Korea Selatan ini karena keduanya saling memiliki dan memenuhi kebutuhan guna mencapai kepentingan dari kedua negara dan melihat faktor yang menyebabkan penundaan proyek KFX/IFX. Adanya ToT agar Indonesia dapat mengembangkan alutsista mandiri dan diharapkan agar bisa berdampak untuk perkembangan teknologi negara./Indonesia is pursuing cooperation with South Korea to carry out a national interest in the joint development of the KFX/IFX fighter project. The study aims to find out Indonesia's interest in cooperation with South Korea in defense of the country that has hitherto remained entwined, given that the two countries improved relationship is approaching and can know the constraints of this fighter project. Not only that, but this study looked at the impact of this agreement on Indonesia's defense system. In achieving the research objectives, the authors used qualitative research methods. Through qualitative research methods, authors using some library fistfights derived from journals, documents, books, prior research, internet sources, and data collection techniques with interviews are used as well. In addition, this study was constructed with the underpinning of neorealism theory and is also supported by the concepts of bilateral cooperation, national interest, the balance of threat. The result of the study achieved is to find out the factors influencing Indonesia to partner with this South Korea because both have each other and meet the needs to achieve the interests of both countries and look at the factors that led to the delay in the KFX/IFX project. There is a ToT so that Indonesia can develop a self-sufficient Alutsista, and it is expected to have an impact on the development of the country's technology.
