Abstract

Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) membagikan ilmu yang telah didapatkan dari pendidikan kepada peserta dalam bentuk pelatihan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dalam jangka waktu yang singkat. Desa Wisata Kranggan merupakan home industri yang memproduksi camilan, tetapi masih sedikit variasi produknya. Warga desa pun juga sering memakai labu Siam tetapi hanya untuk dijadikan lauk sayuran. Oleh karena itu, Mahasiswa program studi Pengelolaan Perhotelan pada Fakultas Pariwisata Universitas Pelita Harapan memberikan pelatihan kepada Desa Wisata Kranggan dalam Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini mengenai pengolahan produk camilan berbahan dasar labu Siam untuk menambah variasi dan inovasi. Ditambah dengan di desa ini sering mendapatkan undangan lomba, dimana tentang pengolahan makanan dan puding labu Siam ini dapat dipakai. Diharapkan kegiatan ini dapat bermanfaat bagi peserta Desa Wisata Kranggan dan juga nantinya dapat dikembangkan. / Community Service (PkM) shares the knowledge that has been obtained from education to participants in the form of training to improve abilities in a short period of time. Kranggan Tourism Village is a home industry that makes snacks, but there is still little variation in the results. Villagers also often use chayote but only as a side dish for vegetables. Therefore, students of the Hospitality Management study program at the Faculty of Tourism, Pelita Harapan University, provided training to the Kranggan Tourism Village in Community Service regarding processing snack products made from chayote to add variety and innovation. Coupled with this village often get invitations to competitions, where about food processing and chayote pudding can be used. It is hoped that the activity can be useful for the participants of the Kranggan Tourism Village and also later can be developed.
