Abstract

Penggunaan Sistem Manajemen Properti memiliki peran penting dalam kinerja sehari-hari di lingkungan sebuah hotel. Fakta yang terjadi di SMK Negeri 62 Jakarta adalah bahwa siswa siswi tidak memiliki akses kepada Sistem Manajemen Properti dan pengenalan materi masih menggunakan cara yang konvensional tanpa menggunakan adanya sistem bantuan. Tanpa adanya pembelajaran mengenai Sistem Manajemen Properti, akan sulit bagi siswa siswi untuk beradaptasi di lingkungan perhotelan yang senantiasa semakin modern. Permasalahan tersebut dapat diatasi dengan adanya pengenalan terhadap salah satu Sistem Manajemen Properti yang digunakan dalam industri perhotelan yaitu Visual Hotel Program (VHP). Metode yang digunakan untuk memecahkan permasalahan tersebut adalah dengan memberikan pengenalan dasar mengenai sistem Visual Hotel Program (VHP). Pengenalan terhadap sistem Visual Hotel Program (VHP) dapat memberikan gambaran terhadap siswa siswi SMK Negeri 62 Jakarta tentang bagaimana sistem yang digunakan dalam kinerja sehari-hari di hotel bekerja. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat dijalankan dengan mempersiapkan materi-materi pembahasan serta video demonstrasi yang digunakan untuk mengedukasi siswa- siswi terhadap sistem Visual Hotel Program (VHP). Kuis singkat, pre-test dan juga post-test diberikan kepada siswa-siswi untuk memberikan data mengenai apakah mereka mengenal sistem sebelumnya, dan apakah Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat efektif dalam memberikan mereka pengenalan terhadap Visual Hotel Program (VHP). Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat berjalan dengan lancar dan tepat waktu, serta masukan yang diberikan oleh pihak sekolah sangatlah baik terhadap Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat yang diselenggarakan. / The usage of a Property Management System plays a pivotal role in the day to day working activity in the environment of a hotel. A fact that is happening in SMK Negeri 62 Jakarta is that the students at the school do not have access to a Property Management System and introducing theory of the day to day working activity still uses conventional methods without the aid of a system. Without training for the usage of a Property Management System, it will be difficult for the students to adapt in the working environment of the hospitality industry that is ever evolving to become more modern. This problem is solved by introducing the students to a Property Management System that is implemented in the hospitality industry, which is Visual Hotel Program (VHP). The methods that are used to solve the problem is to hold a basic training regarding the Visual Hotel Program (VHP). An Introduction to Visual Hotel Program (VHP) can give an image to the students of SMK Negeri 62 Jakarta about how a system that is used for a day to day working activity is operated. This community service activity is run by preparing the basic materials to be presented which include the demonstration video to be used to educate the students about the Visual Hotel Program (VHP) system. Short quiz, pre-test, and post-test is also provided to the students, this is used to provide data about how effective is the community service activity in introducing the students to the Visual Hotel Program. The community service activity is done without any problems and on time, the feedback that is received from the school is excellent regarding the community service activity.
