Abstract

Perkembangan zaman mengakibatkan pesatnya pertumbuhan teknologi. Dampak dari hal tersebut adalah penyebaran teknologi menjadi sangat cepat dan luas. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan adanya adaptasi secara terus menerus agar tidak tertinggal dengan perkembangan yang terjadi. Salah satu aspek penting dalam kehidupan manusia adalah komunikasi dan dengan pesatnya pertumbuhan teknologi cara manusia berkomunikasi dan menyampaikan pesan semakin berkembang. Televisi merupakan salah satu media penyampaian pesan kepada masyarakat. NET TV adalah salah satu perusahaan di bidang stasiun televisi. Pemagang menjadi bagian dari NET TV selama empat bulan yang ditempatkan pada departemen public relations. Tujuan dari kegiatan magang adalah untuk mengetahui, memahami, mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis aktivitas public relations pada dunia nyata yang dilakukan oleh NET TV yang dikaitkan dengan teori yang dipelajari selama proses pembelajaran. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa NET TV telah menerapkan delapan aktivitas public relations yang di mana pemagang turut terlibat pada beberapa aktivitas tersebut, mulai dari perencanaan dan pelaksanaan kampanye, membangun dan memelihara hubungan dengan media, pengembangan sebuah pesan yang akan disampaikan, penulisan press release, kepemimpinan, membangun brand advocates, sponsorship, dan hubungan internal. / The times have resulted in the rapid growth of technology. As the result, there have been a wide impact in the spread of technology. Therefore, continuous adaptation is needed for not to be left behind with developments that occur. One of the important aspects in human life is communication and with the rapid growth of technology the way humans communicate and convey messages is growing. Television is one of the medium for delivering messages to the public. NET TV is one of the companies in the field of television stations. The intern was part of NET TV for four months placed in the public relations department. The purpose of the internship is to find out, understand, describe and analyze public relations activities in the real world carried out by NET TV which are associated with the theories learned during the learning process. It can be concluded that NET TV has implemented eight public relations activities in which interns are involved in several of these activities, starting from planning and implementing campaigns, building and maintaining relationships with the media, developing a message to be conveyed, writing press releases, leadership, building brand advocates, sponsorship, and internal relations.
