Abstract

Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) menunjukkan bahwa pembelian untuk bahan makanan meningkat tajam semenjak wabah COVID-19 terjadi yaitu sebesar 51% sehingga industri pengolahan bahan makanan pokok seperti beras, roti, sayur, susu harus lebih meningkatkan kapasitas produksi mereka. PT Naval Tiara Abadi yang bergerak sebagai pabrik manufaktur pembuatan roti hoya mempunyai beberapa stasiun kerja yang memiliki waktu stasiun cukup lama untuk memproses adonan ke stasiun berikutnya sehingga menyebabkan produksi tidak memenuhi demand dan perusahaan sering sekali menolak demand dari sales-sales retail karena kapasitas produksi yang sudah maksimal. Oleh karena itu, untuk mencari adanya constraint yang terdapat pada pabrik ini, akan dilakukan simulasi menggunakan software flexsim dan terdapat 3 alternatif yang dapat menjadi solusi. Alternatif pertama investasi 1 mesin filling dan 1 mesin tapping dengan penambahan 2 operator. Alternatif kedua investasi pada 2 mesin tapping dan 2 conveyor dengan penambahan 2 operator. Alternatif ketiga investasi 1 mesin packaging dengan penambahan 1 operator dan penerapan jam lembur. Alternatif terbaik adalah alternatif ketiga karena berdasarkan incremental analysis, alternative ketiga paling menguntungkan dengan nilai Net Present Value (NPV) sebesar Rp 82.564.752,58 dan Internal Rate of Return (IRR) sebesar 90%. Dengan alternatif ketiga ini, perusahaan juga dapat mencapai breakeven paling cepat yaitu setelah menjual 121.994 buah roti (10-11 hari kerja) dan nilai b/c ratio untuk metode alternatif 3 adalah 1,617 > 1 sehingga investasi layak dilakukan. Berdasarkan analisis sensitivitas, faktor demand adalah faktor paling sensitif terhadap persentase nilai NPV karena memiliki kemiringan garis yang paling ekstrim dibandingkan faktor MARR dan modal investasi tambahan. Begitupun juga dengan persentase nilai IRR bahwa faktor demand adalah faktor paling sensitif karena peningkatan dan penurunan demand 20% berpengaruh signifikan pada persentase nilai IRR. / The Central Statistics Agency shows that the purchase of food ingredients has increased sharply since the COVID-19 outbreak occurred by 51% so that the processing industries of basic foodstuffs such as rice, bread, vegetables, milk must further increase their production capacity. PT Naval Tiara Abadi, which operates as a hoya bread manufacturing factory, has several work stations that have a long enough time to process the dough to the next station, causing production to not meet demand and the company often refuses requests from retail sales because of its maximum production capacity. Therefore, to look for any problems that exist in this factory, a simulation will be carried out using flexsim software and there are 3 alternatives that can be a solution. The first alternative is to invest in 1 filling machine and 1 tapping machine with the addition of 2 operators. The second alternative is to invest in 2 tapping machines and 2 conveyors with the addition of 2 operators. The third alternative is to invest in 1 packaging machine with the addition of 1 operator and the application of overtime hours. The best alternative is alternative 3 because based on incremental analysis, alternative 3 is the most profitable with a Net Present Value (NPV) of Rp. 82,564,752.58 and an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 90%. With alternative 3, the company can also reach the break-even point the fastest after selling 121,994 pieces of bread (10-11 working days) and the b/c ratio for alternative 3 is 1,617 > 1, so the investment is feasible. Based on the sensitivity analysis, the demand factor is the most sensitive factor to the percentage of the NPV value having the most extreme slope of the line compared to MARR and additional investment capital. The same is true with the percentage of IRR value that the demand factor is the most sensitive factor because an increase and decrease in demand of 20% has a significant effect on the percentage of IRR value.
