Abstract

Desain grafis adalah bentuk seni yang universal. Saat ini, desain grafis telah menjadi bagian dari kehidupan sehari-hari masyarakat di Indonesia. Berbagai penerapan ilmu desain grafis hadir di sekitar kita, baik dengan fungsinya untuk menjelaskan, memperindah, ataupun sebagai identitas sebuah Negara atau perusahaan. Keterkaitan desain grafis dan kehidupan sehari-hari ini mendorong penulis untuk menciptakan sebuah buku yang berisi pengetahuan dasar tentang desain grafis. Diharapkan kehadiran buku ini dapat menjadi sumber pembelajaran bagi mereka yang tertarik dengan desain. Sehingga, setiap orang dapat mempelajari dan memahami apa itu desain grafis dan bagaimana desain grafis bekerja serta hadir untuk menunjang berbagai aspek kehidupan mereka. Penulis mengumpulkan sendiri berbagai konten mengenai dunia desain grafis, merangkumnya dengan bahasa yang singkat dan mudah dimengerti, serta menata sejumlah informasi tersebut dengan visual yang menarik. Sehingga buku dapat menjadi sumber referensi yang dapat mudah dimengerti baik oleh kaum awam yang memang menyenangi dunia desain. / Graphic design is a the most universal form of art. Recently, graphic design has become a part of everyday life in Indonesia society. Various forms and application of graphic design is around us, either by its function to explain, embellish, or as the identity of a country or a company. The strong connection of graphic design and everyday life has led the author to create a book that contains the basic knowledge of graphic design. This book expected to be a source of learning for those interested in graphic design. So, everyone can learn and understand what it is and how graphic design work to support the various aspects of their lives. The author collects its own variety of content about graphic design, briefly summarize the language and make it easy to understand. Besides, author also organize those information with a number of interesting visual. So, the book can be a source of reference that can be easily understood by those who are interested in graphic design.
