Abstract

Peminat dan pengadopsi gaya hidup vegetarian terus bertambah dengan berbagai alasan diantaranya dikarenakan alasan kesehatan, kemanusiaan, dan untuk membantu menurunkan berat badan. Perayaan Natal yang dirayakan oleh umat Kristiani di Indonesia yang juga bersamaan dengan libur panjang anak-anak sekolah menjadikan hari libur ini sebagai waktu untuk berkumpul bersama keluarga dan berlibur yang tidak hanya dilakukan oleh umat Kristiani di Indonesia tetapi oleh hampir seluruh masyarakat Indonesia. Namun, terjadinya pandemi Covid-19 dimana pemerintah Indonesia mengeluarkan regulasi yang membatasi kegiatan masyarakat untuk mencegah penyebaran virus Covid-19, membuat banyak kegiatan yang biasanya dilakukan diluar rumah seperti makan-makan di restoran menjadi memasak dan makan bersama di rumah. Hal inilah yang mendasari dibuatnya rancangan buku resep dengan judul Vegetarian Christmas Recipe, untuk memberikan alternatif menu yang mengurangi penggunaan produk hewani khususnya daging. Pembuatan buku resep ini dilakukan dengan pengumpulan referensi dan melakukan uji coba resep referensi. Setelah membuahkan hasil yang memuaskan maka dilanjutkan dengan mendesain buku resep, dan menghasilkan buku resep yang berjudul “Vegetarian Christmas Recipe”. Dengan diselesaikannya rancangan buku resep ini, diadakan seminar hasil dengan judul Book Launching Vegetarian Christmas Recipe yang bertujuan untuk memaparkan buku resep yang telah dihasilkan dan mendapatkan umpan balik dari para Reviewer. Seminar hasil ini diselenggarakan secara daring melalui aplikasi Zoom yang dihadiri oleh tiga reviewer. Seminar hasil ini dimulai dengan pemaparan materi, dilanjutkan dengan sesi tanya-jawab oleh reviewer dimana melalui tanya-jawab tersebut didapatkan masukkan dan umpan balik dari para reviewer. / Enthusiasts and adopters of the vegetarian lifestyle continue to grow for various reasons including for health reasons, humanity, and to help lose weight. The Christmas celebration which is celebrated by Christians in Indonesia which also coincides with a long holiday for school children makes this holiday a time to gather with family and take a vacation that is not only done by Christians in Indonesia but by almost all Indonesian people. However, the occurrence of the Covid-19 pandemic where the Indonesian government issued regulations that limit community activities to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus, made many activities that are usually carried out outside the home such as eating at restaurants into cooking and eating together at home. This is the basis for the design of a recipe book with the title Vegetarian Christmas Recipe, to provide an alternative menu that reduces the use of animal products, especially meat. This recipe book is made by collecting references and testing reference recipes. After producing satisfactory results, they continued with designing a recipe book, and producing a recipe book entitled "Vegetarian Christmas Recipe". With the completion of this recipe book design, a seminar was held with the title Book Launching Vegetarian Christmas Recipe which aims to present the recipe book that has been produced and get feedback from reviewers. The results seminar was held online via the Zoom application, which was attended by three reviewers. The results seminar started with the presentation of the material, followed by a question-and-answer session by the reviewers where through the question-and-answer input and feedback were obtained from the reviewers.
