Abstract

Saham merupakan bukti kepemilikan dari suatu perusahaan. Harga saham berubah setiap harinya begitu pula dengan keuntungan pada saham. Keuntungan ini dapat diperoleh dari pembagian dividen dan kenaikan harga saham atau yang disebut dengan keuntungan kapital. Keuntungan kapital tidak konstan, pergerakan keuntungan kapital inilah yang disebut sebagai volatilitas keuntungan saham. Pada akhir tahun 2019, dunia digemparkan dengan pandemi COVID-19. Tepat tanggal 30 Januari 2020, Organisasi Kesehatan Dunia (WHO) menetapkan wabah ini menjadi Publick Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC). Investor yang melihat kondisi pandemi global ini berusaha mengamankan dana mereka. Mereka akan beralih dari investasi berisiko ke investasi rendah risiko. Pada tanggal 2 Maret 2020 pemerintah Indonesia secara resmi mengumumkan dua kasus positif pertama di Indonesia. Perdagangan di pasar saham Indonesia yang masih didominasi oleh investor asing ikut mengalami goncangan hebat. Pada bulan yang sama tepatnya tanggal 24 Maret 2020, indeks harga saham gabungan (IHSG) mencapai level terendah di 3.937,63 atau turun sebesar 26,5% sejak 2 Maret 2020. Keuntungan saham menjadi tidak stabil. Volatilitas keuntungan saham ini dipengaruhi oleh perdagangan investor asing yang biasa mendominasi pembelian di pasar saham Indonesia secara signifikan berubah menjadi mendominasi penjualan. Mereka menjadi penjual pada saat krisis berlangsung untuk mengamankan dana mereka. begitu pula dengan kepemilikan investor asing. Semakin besar kepemilikan investor asing pada suatu saham menurunkan tingkat volatilitas keuntungan saham. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian ini, para investor dapat menjadikan transaksi investor asing menjadi indikator dalam pemilihan saham sesuai dengan profil risiko masing-masing. / Share is proof of ownership of a company. Stock prices change every day as well as return on stocks. This return can be obtained from the dividends and an increase in stock prices or known as capital gain. Capital gain are not constant, this volatility of capital gains is known as the volatility stock return. At the end of 2019, the world was shocked by the COVID-19 pandemic. On January 30, 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared this outbreak a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC). Investors who see the conditions of this global pandemic are trying to secure their funds. They will switch from risky investments to low-risk investments. On March 2, 2020 the Indonesian government officially announced the first two positive cases in Indonesia. Trading in the Indonesian stock market, which is still dominated by foreign investors, also experienced great shocks. In the same month, March 24, 2020, the composite stock price index (JCI) reached its lowest level at 3,937.63 or decreased by 26.5% since March 2, 2020. Stock return became unstable. The stock return volatility is influenced by the trading of foreign investors, which usually net-buy in the Indonesian stock market, which has significantly changed to net-sales. They become sellers in times of crisis to secure their funds. as well as the ownership of foreign investors. The greater the ownership of foreign investors in a stock, the lower the stock return volatility. Based on the results of this study, investors can make foreign investor transactions an indicator in selecting stocks according to their respective risk profile.
