Abstract

Based on the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 20 of 2003, universities are required to carry out research and community service, specifically the implementation of education, research, and community service. Extensions is a result from the education and/or learning process, communication, and social processes. Sego Megono is a processed food with the basic ingredients of grated coconut and chopped young jackfruit, mixed with kecombrang. and then steamed until cooked. Tauto Pekalongan is a soto tauto that use chicken or beef as the basic ingredient and has a distinctive taste from Pekalongan tauco. The expected result through this community service activity is know the culture and cook Pekalongan cuisine, so that they can share and apply this knowledge to the surrounding environment. This community service is carried out through online meetings via the Zoom application. The event began with participants filling out an online pre-test questionnaire as attendance, the pre-test questionnaire was sent via the Zoom application chat room, then the team provided material briefing, and gave a recipe that the participants would make. There are two types of scale methods that the authors included in the pre-test and post-test questionnaires viz the Likert Scale and the Guttman Scale. The continuation of this community service is intended to share knowledge and new experiences for participants. In accordance with the initial purpose of holding community service, the team wanted to introduce Central Java specialties, especially Pekalongan.
