Sistem rekomendasi adalah sistem yang dibuat dengan tujuan untuk membantu pengguna dalam mengetahui item yang diminati oleh mereka. Sistem rekomendasi banyak diimplementasikan di marketplace, sosial media dan untuk tujuan lainnya. Salah satu proses yang membutuhkan sistem rekomendasi adalah pada proses pemilihan kamera. Pemilihan kamera untuk fotografer yang belum berpengalaman menggunakan kamera menjadi salah satu permasalahan yang cukup penting dikarenakan banyaknya kamera yang bermunculan hingga saat ini. Proses pemilihan kamera biasanya dilakukan dengan bertanya kepada fotografer senior yang sudah terjun lama dalam bidang fotografi agar diberikan rekomendasi terkait kamera yang sesuai dengan kriteria. Proses konvensional tersebut tentunya akan memakan waktu yang sangat lama. Oleh karena permasalahan tersebut, maka perlu dilakukan penelitian untuk sebuah sistem informasi rekomendasi pada proses pemilihan kamera. Pada penelitian ini akan diterapkan 2 metode rekomendasi yaitu metode Collaborative Filtering dan Knowledge Item Based. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi rekomendasi kamera DSLR yang dibangun menerapkan metode Collaborative Filtering dan Knowledge Item Based dalam memberikan rekomendasi prediksi pilihan kamera berdasarkan pola rating dari user lainnya./A recommendation system is a system created with the aim of helping users find out what items they are interested in. Many recommendation systems are implemented in the marketplace, social media and for other purposes. One process that requires a recommendation system is the camera selection process. The choice of a camera for a photographer who has no experience using a camera is one of the most important problems due to the number of cameras that have sprung up to date. The process of selecting a camera is usually done by asking senior photographers who have been involved in photography for a long time to give recommendations regarding cameras that match the criteria. This conventional process will certainly take a very long time. Because of these problems, it is necessary to conduct research for a recommendation information system in the camera selection process. In this study, 2 recommendation methods will be applied, namely the Collaborative Filtering method and the Knowledge Item Based method. The results showed that the DSLR camera recommendation information system that was built applied the Collaborative Filtering and Knowledge Item Based methods in providing predictive recommendations for camera choices based on the rating patterns of other users.
