Abstract

Penyakit kardiovaskular atau cardiovascular disease (CVD) merupakan penyakit yang berhubungan dengan jantung dan pembuluh darah, contohnya seperti serangan jantung, stroke, dan aterosklerosis. Faktor utama penyebab penyakit kardiovaskular yaitu terjadinya penyumbatan pembuluh darah karena adanya pembekuan darah yang menyebabkan darah tidak dapat mengalir dengan lancar. Ada banyak kemajuan penelitian yang ditujukan untuk pencegahan dan pengobatan pembekuan darah seperti perawatan menggunakan antikoagulan (warfarin dan heparin), antiplatelet (dipiridamol dan aspirin), trombolitik, trombektomi, dan agen fibrinolitik. Nanas (Ananas comosus) merupakan buah dari famili Bromeliaceae yang banyak dikonsumsi. Buah nanas mengandung banyak mengandung vitamin A, vitamin B, asam malat, gula, dan asam sitrat. Seiring berkembangnya teknologi, buah nanas telah banyak dimodifikasi dalam berbagai bentuk untuk dikonsumsi salah satunya dalam bentuk suplemen. Salah satu dari produk yang berasal dari ekstrak nanas, yaitu bromelin juga telah diteliti memiliki efek fibrinolitik, antiedema, anti-inflamasi, dan antitrombotik. Penelitian ini dilakukan mulai dari uji degradasi gumpalan darah, uji degradasi gumpalan euglobulin menggunakan suplemen bromelin. Diketahui bahwa suplemen bromelin dan suplemen nattokinase memiliki aktivitas fibrinolitik yang baik karena dapat mendegradasi darah dengan baik / Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is a disease related to the heart and blood vessels, such as heart attack, stroke, and atherosclerosis. The main factor causing cardiovascular disease is the occurrence of blockage of blood vessels due to blood clots that cause blood to not flow properly. There have been many researchers in advance aimed at the prevention and treatment of blood clots such as treatments using anticoagulants (warfarin and heparin), antiplatelet agents (dipyridamole and aspirin), thrombolytics, thrombectomy, and fibrinolytic agents. Pineapple (Ananas comosus) is the most consumed fruit of the Bromeliaceae family. Pineapple fruit contains lots of vitamin A, vitamin B, malic acid, sugar, and citric acid. Along with the development of technology, pineapple has been modified in various forms for consumption, one of which is in the form of supplements. One of the products derived from pineapple extract, namely bromelain, has also been investigated for its fibrinolytic, antiedema, anti-inflammatory, and antithrombotic effects. This research was carried out starting from the blood clot degradation test, the euglobulin clot degradation test using bromelain supplements. It is widely known that bromelain and nattokinase supplements has fibrinolytic activity
