Abstract

Commodity trading in Indonesia is a form of investment that has recently become a trend and has attracted a lot of public interest. However, in daily life, many consumers of commodity futures brokers feel disadvantaged by the presence of this form of investment. Even though this happened the broker they used was illegal and did not have a license or what we could call, bogus. Regulations related to commodity futures have been regulated in sufficient detail by the Government of Indonesia based on Law Number 10 of 2011 concerning Commodity Futures Trading and Indonesia even has its own commodity futures supervisory body commonly referred to as Bappebti. This thesis will discuss further the form of protection that will be received if the public becomes a consumer of a commodity broker and conducts transactions in futures trading through the Futures Exchange. Then it will also discuss the Investment Document (in this case, the risk notification agreement and the assignment agreement) that are binding between the consumer and the broker based on an agreement that has an example according to the appendix of the regulation of the Commodity Futures Trading Supervisory Agency Number 8 of 2019 concerning Amendments to the Regulation of the Commodity Futures Trading Agency Number 4 of 2018 concerning Provisions of Futures Broker Behaviour has protected the interests of the commodity futures broker cunsomers.
