Abstract

Every company needs an Information System to support the company's business processes. Good Information Systems can help company to manage their business processes better so that companies can gain competitive advantages. Currently, PT. Matahari Department Store, Tbk (PT. MDS) is still using manual systems on the entire process of procurement. This research is focused on Purchase Requisition as part of digitalisation and optimation in procurement process. Since the Purchase Requisition as the initial activity of procurement process, the existence of better systems specifically business process management is needed to improve the overall performance of procurement process in PT. MDS. The Procurement Information System is developed using the Throwaway Protoyping methodology, which is built using PHP programming language and Javascript. Standardization of system flow modeling using Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) version 2.0 and using Processmaker version 3.2. The result of this research is a web-based Procurement Information System, with some main features such as, item list management, online purchase request and systematic approval systems. The implemenetation of this systems will reduce the use of physical documents and eliminated unnecessary process time during the procurement process in PT.MDS./ Setiap perusahaan membutuhkan Sistem Informasi untuk mendukung proses bisnis perusahaan tersebut. Sistem Informasi yang baik dapat membantu pengelolaan proses bisnis perusahaan menjadi lebih baik sehingga dapat memberikan keunggulan kompetitif bagi perusahaan tersebut. Saat ini, PT. Matahari Department Store, Tbk (PT. MDS) masih menggunakan sistem manual pada keseluruhan proses pengadaan barang. Penelitian ini berfokus pada proses Permintaan Pembelian yang harus didigitalisasi dan dioptimalkan. Permintaan Pembelian merupakan kegiatan awal dalam keseluruhan proses Pengadaan Barang. Dengan adanya pengelolaan proses bisnis Permintaan Pembelian yang lebih baik dapat meningkatkan performa keseluruhan proses pengadaan barang di PT. MDS. Sistem Informasi Pengadaan Barang ini dikembangkan dengan menggunakan metode Throwaway Protoyping. Bahasa pemrograman sistem yang digunakan adalah PHP dan Javascript. Standarisasi pemodelan alur sistem yang digunakan adalah Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) versi 2.0 dengan menggunakan aplikasi Processmaker versi 3.2. Dari penelitian ini dihasilkan Sistem Informasi Pengadaan Barang berbasis web yang dapat mendukung proses pengadaan barang PT. Matahari Department Store, Tbk mencakup fitur untuk mengelola data barang, pembuatan Permintaan Pembelian secara online dan persetujuan formulir melalui sistem. Hasil implementasi sistem ini dapat mengurangi penggunaaan dokumen fisik dan waktu yang diperlukan dalam proses pengadaan barang.
