Abstract

Having a healthy physical body is the most important thing for human being to do their daily activities. Athletes, in this case, they should be mentally and physically healthy to compete. Many athletes such as basketball, American football, and rugby players suffered Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury, which often caused by the rotation of joints. The quality of rehabilitation could affect the possibility of athletes with injured ACL going back to the court. Kinect, a tool created by Microsoft has some capabilities which can be used to facilitate various fields of work, such as in the medical field. Kinect began to widely use for medical rehabilitation. By using Kinect sensor, some movements can be used to generate information to access medical or health improvement during the rehabilitation process. Therefore, this final project focuses on developing a rehabilitation information system using Kinect sensor technology. The system is developed using system prototyping method with C SHARP (C#) as programming language. Use case diagram, activity diagram, and class diagram of UML model are used for designing the entire system. The final result is going to be implemented in Araphysiotherapy rehabilitation center at Pelita Harapan University (UPH) and could help to improve the data collection process as well as the rehabilitation process./ Kesehatan adalah modal utama untuk melakukan pekerjaan sehari-hari. Olahragawan tidak hanya membutuhkan kesehatan mental namun juga kondisi fisik yang prima agar dapat berkompetisi. Atlet olahraga seperti atlet bola basket, American football, rugby, banyak mengalami cedera Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL), yang biasanya disebabkan oleh perputaran sendi saat melakukan gerakan yang mendadak. Kemungkinan untuk kembali melakukan aktivitas seperti semula pada atlet yang telah mengalami cedera ACL akan menurun, tetapi probabilitas ini akan meningkat apabila penderita melakukan proses rehabilitasi yang tepat dan lengkap. Kinect, sebuah alat buatan Microsoft memiliki fitur yang dapat memonitor pergerakan tubuh manusia sehingga mulai banyak digunakan pada bidang rehabilitasi medis. Data yang diperoleh dari alat ini dapat digunakan untuk mengamati dan mengevaluasi berbagai tahapan rehabilitasi. Karya tulis ini membahas mengenai pengembangan sistem informasi rehabilitasi pasien cedera ACL dengan menggunakan teknologi sensor Kinect. Sistem ini dikembangkan dengan menggunakan metode purwarupa sistem (system prototyping) dan bahasa pemrograman C Sharp (C#). Sistem ini di rancang dengan menggunakan pemodelan UML dengan use case diagram, activity diagram, dan class diagram. Selain itu, sistem ini diterapkan di pusat rehabilitasi Araphysiotherapy di Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH) dan dapat menjadi solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang ada pada sistem yang digunakan saat ini.
